Hello again. What a surprise that you mentioned me 😅 The Mühle STF is a great brush for me, I really like it. The LaToja (La Toha)stick is a fantastic soap. It's my go to soap while travelling. LaToja and Speick Stick! Martin de Candre are really good soaps. Very expensive but worth the money for sure!

We will be sad to see the boats go, but I think that a very light yellow or green might look nice, and contribute to the brightness a bit.

Great shave Mark, Mitchell's Wool fat is the only shave soap my wife uses, she loves the lanolin. I recently got her TOBS Organic Unscented Cream and she likes that as well. I do want a Blackland Sabre Razor eventually I will find one on BST. Brush seems very good I hope scritch goes away :)

Maybe paint the bathroom a nice sage green to go with the new Muhle set!

Hi, Mark. I've gone quiet of late but remain a loyal viewer and avid fan of the channel. I'm breaking silence to confirm to you that my Mühle STF started out and remains prickly, so much so that I've taken it out of my rotation. It's a shame because, as you note, the performance of the brush is otherwise excellent. It's always puzzled me because until now no one else has remarked on the problem, which could hardly escape notice. I suppose the manufacturing process could produce rare lemons, but that seems unlikely given the company's level of quality control. Besides, it's not a flaw I've seen in any other synthetic brush. However that may be, rest assured that you're not alone. In fairness to the company I should add that I own a Mühle Rytmo black fiber brush, and it's one of my favorite synthetics, a real gem. And I heard from AP Shaveco that they've come out with a new STF knot incorporating a fabric material known as Sorona. That may eliminate the problem, but I'm skeptical, especially now that my reservations have been confirmed. Anyway, I hope this helps. Thanks as always for the candid report. You're the best. Hey mark, Interesting about the prickle on the brush. I got a couple and no prickle and I have sensitive skin. Are any fibers installed upside down? This knot is a bit magical where it has some backbone and can splay pretty easily. My brush and 25mm knot came from AP shaveco. On another note I have a QED Select M Silvertip on the way.
