Can you please tell me what is the full assembled height of the S30 Pro Max, including feet, gantry, laser head and the tubes coming down for air assist? Thanks!

The only issue I have with the sculpfun laser is the disconnection from the laser to the workspace. There’s no way to calibrate the workspace in lightburn with where you know you’re in the same place every time. One thing you didn’t do and will cause you a lot of dust to collect on the nozzle is you want to raise the bed up so the dust can blow UNDER the honeycomb bed. Also be sure you have the reflective plate under the bed as well so the laser won’t damage your work table. The Roly lasermatic10 you’ll find is a lot better. The only thing that it doesn’t have is the automatic air assist.

How did you cut the clear acrylic? .. it was my understanding a diode laser would cut black but not clear...

Hi dude, Did you 3 mm plywood cut? If you cut, what did you arrange speed and power?

Hi there - I have the S30 Pro Max - for a 3mm cut of plywood I use 200 speed and 90% power - it cuts 3mm first time no problem - I cut through 5mm Oak at 200 speed and 95%power - 1 cut does it perfect I’m still learning all the different settings, but that speed and power cuts straight through no problem Hope that helps 😊👍🏼

@@derek4164 Hi Derek, Firstly thanks for your information. Actually I am trying for 10 mm plywood 1 cut but i didn't yet. Your machine is 20w? Can you try 10 mm plywood and can you give me info pls. Where am i making mistake i don't know? İ am bored this position. :(

Ah! That is the Hitry Rocket 1 resin 3D Printer. It's a different take on resin printing as the print lowers into a vat of resin upright, rather than pulling out of the vat upside down. It can go quite fast, but requires some extra calibrating to get it working just right. I'm allergic to the resin so I stick to FDM printing most of the time.

Instead of having everyone wear safety glasses (pets?), it would seem safer to have a laser cutter in an enclosure.

Yes, but then you will need more fans and extra setup so the vendor did not prepare it for it, since an enclosure will add the extra fun or proper ventilation, and that's an extra job that must be documented, also keep in mind that even with that you are always working with a laser so always be careful.

There are laser engravers with enclosures, but I think this style is to keep it simple and the cost down.
