Mindset, positivity, good self talk and believing in yourself or speaking things to existence all are super important for sure you need that I agree, BUT you absolutely have to be willing to put in the work along with it. if your not willing to do the work just wishing for shit won't get you anywhere they both gotta be together.

I remember the first time I heard this guy Dave East rap, it was a freestyle over the DAngelo Lady beat, you gotta appreciate the real MC's in the game that can still put pen to a page and craft masterpieces and bodies of work that outlive the artists themselves. Dave is one of them artists. Incredible guy and songwriter.

From beginning to end- this episode has amazing moments! The multiple conversations and dialogue were so authentic . One of the many golden moments that struck me was when y’all were talking about where some classic music videos were filmed. It’s always dope to recognize places within your community in classic music videos for others to witness staple areas that we connect back to our neighborhoods and personal memories. I may be draggin but😂😂 love❤

Thank you for keeping it 💯 Dave East!!! The whole interview was fired as always math however it hit different when bro spoke on that addiction to lean and how he came to terms with realizing it wasn't the business health-wise and most importantly because of the lack of ability to be at his best when taking care of his child. What I love here is even without judgment he gave a testimony and that should be powerful to the youth hearing how all that stuff is glorified. Like it said everybody have their own vice been there done that for whatever mine was and shook it but yeah that's what's up.. Good to hear grown man convo in hip hop 👊🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾👍🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
