In my opinion, one of the main reasons that Ol' Skool Hip-Hop/Rap artists are starting to have a resurgence is cause of people like me who grew up with them and our influence on the Elder Statesman of Rap music comes from a couple reasons, first off is because of our love of the music and the artists, so much that we made it possible to have successful Ol' Skool Hip-Hop/R&B stations, reunion tours, etc..., second comes from the Young ones disrespecting and sh*t talking the Older Folks which pissed a lot of us off to where we were socially connecting with our generations people and artist and blasting back, third is our generations kids that have listened to and liked or even loved our music who now listen to the old sh*t and know the history and keep it alive, fourth our want and need for the Ol' Skool artist to drop new shit to show the young ones these days that our generations artist got bars all on these new folks, the new sh*t from Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Ice T, Slick Rick and several others are straight heat, real talk
