I'm going to show you my MY EXTREMELY MATTE, SWEAT PROOF, OIL PROOF, FULL COVERAGE MAKEUP ROUTINE that I especially love to do in the summer time when I want to wear a full face. These steps help my makeup last much longer than normal so I don't end up looking like a crazy person by the end of the day. I hope this helps even just one person!

UPDATE: I tried these steps for my graduation makeup and I looked good ALL DAY...a little oil got through but it was like a natural glow type of shine not a mud slide on my face situation. And it was definitely the order of application and the technique because I used drugstore brand makeup and my foundation was actually a natural finish (L'oreal Infallible 24hr wear) not a matte finish (because they have the matte finish in my color which is creme cafe but the matte formula does not match my skin at all). Anyway, I OD'd with the Nyx Matte Spray like @ItsMyRayeRaye suggested and followed all the steps and I looked good for at least 18 hours. Now I wore this foundation before and it did not last like this so again it was DEFINITELY the tips from this video. So thank you @ItsMyRayeRaye ...you saved my graduation photos!!! Keep doing your thing :)

I swear, you changed my life. I have really oily skin and my foundation gets embarrassingly cakey when it’s getting hot to the point I had to fix my makeup every 1-2 hour. You're a lifesaver! I have really oily skin, after an hour my face starts to shine brighter than my future and it feels so disgusting to be around people when you know your face looks like you just dipped your face in a bucket of oil. I'm using baby powder instead of baking/setting powder (because I'm broke 😂) and it's working perfectly fine. I've used the powder under foundation and it really works! You girls can try using airspun powder or a drugstore hd powder. And a really great foundation is the wet and wild photo focus. I find it to be comparable to my hella expensive estee lauder. Another trick is to actually mix a little setting powder with your foundation and then apply. I find that you dont have to use an expensive setting spray after to get the job done too. Hope this helps yall out❤

I love love love the wet n wild photo focus and the stay matte foundation by rimmel london. They range about $5-$7. The rimmel london foundation doesn’t have the best shades to choose from so I normally buy two shades to mix and get a match for my skin. Hope you get to try them! Xoxo

Honestly! This video saved me!!! I was bridesmaid at my friends wedding at it was going to be a very loong day and I have really oily skin. This video is in my favourite list now. Since the pandemic I have completely stopped wearing makeup and my skin has also changed. I am oily and had no idea to put makeup on oily skin. I followed this tutorial to the letter and managed to get through 12 hours of perfect wear. I didn't feel like I had tonnes of makeup on my face. I wasn't itching to wash it off after 3 hrs. I couldn't believe how comfortable it was. And it lasted through mask wear and British rain!

Mac setting powder you are using?? Girlfriend... The setting powder she is using ah can't even hold a candle to Dermablend setting powder. Now Mac is GOOD but Derma Blend is the best. You have to get that setting powder it will change your life. Honey I woke up with my boyfriend and my make up WAS STILL THE SAME I HAD NO RACCOON EYES NOTHING JUST LIPSTICK FADED. GET THAT POWDER.

GIRL YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON ON KZfaq WHO USES THAT SETTING POWDER. That setting powder is the best on the market .. period. DOT. That setting powder last sooo long and your make up stays exactly the same. Very Good setting powder. It don't dry you out you can put a big amount and it will dust off like magic.

I literally had this KZfaq video playing and doing step by step this makeup routine on my wedding day last year December. Where I live in Australia it's called the wet tropics so humid and wearing makeup here is so hard especially for oily skin like mine. Edem Fiawosime I want to say that too, but I do find that when I use the milk primer my makeup goes on a lot smoother and stays on a little longer. For setting sprays I don’t like at all. I think that one most people don’t really need it.

I think you can use this technique even if you have combination or not as oily skin type, just use less amount of powder and a brush instead of using "baking" technique with a sponge. I have used it in the past and it works perfectly. Thank you for sharing this trick. :)

Yes oily girl here! It's a blessing and a curse so thank you for your tutorial. Bare escentuals mineral veil and make up forever have great translucent loose powders as well and they give you an airbrushed look.
