The day has finally arrived to show you my kitchen renovation. For the past ten years, I've lived in an old farmhouse that included a dated 80's kitchen. While I updated the kitchen a bit with some painted cabinets, I always craved more! About nine months ago, I embarked on the journey of general contracting my own kitchen renovation. And boy, was it an arduous process. But I'm so pleased with the results and am so excited to show you the finished product. Enjoy!

Inviting,warm.cozy, and well thought out FARMHOUSE RENOVATION> Very smart idea for doors that invite the outdoors into your home. Love how you have displayed your plants in a large basket and stand. Not only an excellent design but you have reached your goal of marrying beauty & functionality & bringing back the home to what it was! Very talented designer!

We live in a 140 year log house, and always looking for ideas to update. I love what you did to update your kitchen. In the next couple of years I would love to open up the upstairs again, and put an addition on, maybe put some garden doors off the living room, maybe a sunroom so all my plants can go out there. I have so many ideas.

I love it. It turned out beautiful. I love using old things that have memories or meaning. We live in west central Iowa in a house that use to be on a farm place west of town. They brought it into town in the '50's. We've spent years updating here and there.
