Daniel Ibrahim Taylor was on different(more grip) tires than the entire rest of the field(gentlemen’s agreement to all run the same Kenda tires), but none were small enough to fit the Miata, so he used different tires. More grip = faster. That’s why Aaron said “He was pulling away from everyone.”

With seat time/learning setup that'll be happening. Still such a new car! Very little tandem time with it. The more he tandems in the s15, the quicker he'll be like in his other cars. You can setup a car all day and run single person laps and run decent lines. But till you get it out beside others, you don't really know what you are doing with setup. He'll get there

@@supman8166 i dont think thats the case at all. Taylor may not be as famous as Adam but he knows that if it wasnt for the friendship with Taylor he would nvr be where he is in his drifting today. Taylor teached him so many things and brought him to many ppl like Big boost, Kelsey Rowlings ect. also keep in mind that Adam is why Taylor got the vette and hooked taylor up on the japan trip aswell.. ungrateful ppl dont do those things. they will always have a friendly rivalry behind the wheel and niether would ever admit to being bested by the other not even taylor
