Usyk for me goes down as one of the greatest sportsman of the last 30 yrs. dominated at different weights and has done so with pure class determination will to win and is just a pure humble character and an absolute role model on every way for everyone to look up to. Conducts himself with pure integrity and class.as a Brit I’m delighted he won and so happy for him and his country.

I couldn't be more happy for him, what a boxer and a man of integrity and good values he is, he went in there not only against Fury but against the referee who robbed him of a KO win, against the judges who almost robbed him the fight despite Usyl clearly winning at least 8 rounds, and against almost the totality of the boxing media that wanted him to lose to have the Fury-AJ fight, and they were already counting him out. He's definitely one of the greatest boxers of all time, inside and outside the ring.

A 6.3 Usyk has beaten all the giants of this lame era and exposed them. Skill, will, grit and heart always beats height, reach and a big size if it can't be used the right way. All the talk about the previous generations being too small in this era has to stop now. The heavyweights of this era have avoided each other too much. Nothing wrong about not being undefeated, just fight each other next.

@@lefthandlee That's just lame. Wilder's biggest win is a 40 year old Ortiz and won the belt against Stiverne who isn't even a top 100000000 heavyweight. Parker literally had a one sided performance against Wilder who knocked out a bum before the Parker fight. I like Fury as well but all the nonsense talk about him being the goat had to stop at some point.

@@lefthandlee Fury has been knocked down 8 times in his career now. He is technical but also sloppy and clumsy at times. Fury won arguably all 3 fights against Wilder who I consider the most overrated puncher in combat sports history. But I agree upon taking damage isn't good. Having said this, Usyk has fought big punchers like Joshua twice and Dubois. Usyk's defensive abilities overall are similar to Fury who just can't be consistent in his approach, which makes his performances average at best with some master performances every once in a while. And maybe Fury puts on more weight for the rematch against Usyk just to be stronger taking punches.

Way to go champ! The TRUE champ! Fury gallant in defeat but he was only training seriously in the last 2 - 3 months. Usyk was forced (due to all the delays) to train solid for 9 months without a break. Who has ever done that and still been able to pull off a performance like that? Talk about pushing yourself to the limits of endurance.
