Good video. The Ab key signature should only have four flats. I can see the temptation to add the fifth flat, but it seems like it would be confusing to someone just learning to read.

Thanks! Actually, I usually write them that way because Ab is the V chord of the key of Db, so I think of it almost as Ab Mixolydian since we are dealing with blues. Just a quirk but I doubt most folks on KZfaq pay attention to my standard notation. Could go either way, I guess.

5 flats unanticipated Incorrect. It denotes that it’s Ab mixodian.with al Ab key signature, there would have to be a flat Symbol before each G on the staff

This coming from an absolute beginner so please take it for what it's worth. How in earth do you manage to transcribe a man's music that played his guitar back to front upside down? Gosh! That is if I can believe half of what I read on the net?

It’s all about what it sounds like. I’m never going to sound just like Albert but this is as close as I can get without playing super light strings on an upside down guitar :)

Nice lesson but I can't get the tab for it. I added it the the checkout, received the email, and when I click on the link I get the message "Sorry but you have hit your download limit for this file". Is there any way to get the file?
