The AP Skeleton has been a crowd favorite since the day it was released!
There is no real watch collector/enthusiasts that does not love to be able to see the beauty of the movement through the dial. With the previous two versions of this model in both stainless steel and rose gold, it was only a matter of time before they would drop a ceramic version!

This watch is unbelievable. I just saw an interview with Slash where he revealed some of his guitar collection and I swear he’s wearing this piece! It has that PVD look that Lagerfeld popularized.

For me the openworked double barrel in stainless steel is the best. I saw it in the boutique, it is insane! The nicest contrast, it's just mesmerizing

I still love the rose gold most. But black x gold is always beautiful. I think I like the rose gold more because the “face” contrasts more with everything else. On this, the face is pretty much the same color as the ceramic watch

Because of the astronomical price they sell some of the luxury watches are not only timepieces but are also art pieces. The Audemars Piguet double balance and skeleton perpetual calendar are beautiful watches. I prefer the stainless steel and gold version instead of the ceramic because ceramic watches can crack.

Was this video recorded awhile ago ? Ceramic perpetual calendar skeleton goes for higher in the market than the ceramic double balance. If double balance is 500k then the ceramic perpetual skeleton would be at least 650k

OMG. What a watch - but Tourbillon is the ultimate Grail Watch ( or the Ultra Thin probably)... But with pockets like mine and Not being Marc Walberg I hab to go for the ceramic Laureato skeleton Earth to Sky ( you Don ' t like, I know ;-) But Happy, nevertheless and added the Eternity im green ....

Nice and special but it does not make sense to pay such huge amount of money for a piece that can crack or brake so the steel is the one to go for if you can actually can get and afford one.

It would be hard for a retailer to sell the watch at 80k knowing they could fetch 500k on the grey market. How many of them give a family or friend 20k to put it in their name from the retailer then sell it on the second hand market as new unworn for 500k that’s 400k more than they would get in store. Say you owned the boutique, is this something you would do as the $$ to hard to resist??

Way cool pieces but if you can’t get one (similar to a new Patek, Rolex etc.) why even bother? From $80k to whopping $500 large… holy shit… clearly it’s better to sit on the sideline than make a purchase with the price at its peak. Just my opinion

About a month ago, Roman Sharf put out a “market forecast” video. In it, he said 4 brands account for 62% of the entire watch industry’s profits. Those companies are Rolex, RM, Patek, and AP. 😂 Maybe Eric talks about them because they are the BIGGEST BRANDS in the industry 💰
