love that you’re trying out stuff on the longboard side of skating, i highly encourage you to try out high speed slides on that board! powerslides on soft wheels are something else

I recently started skating to work on my 20 dollar Walmart board. It's in the same shape and I love it.

I skate a 1977 Alva reissue with 88a 59mm wheels. It's really hard to go back to my normal board. I still do tricks but those that were popular in the 70's... which I'm drawn to. It's so much fun

Same way I feel about my Dinghy Blunt! Although I did switch to some standard Indy hangers so I could use some 78a Ricta Clouds instead of the Fatty Hawgs it came with. The Hawgs are fantastic wheels, but the contact patch was a little too big for my purposes

I would love to go to school using that board, the transport vehicles are usually slow and they take quite a bit of time looking for more passengers, the traffic can be insane at times too. I would treat that board as a blessing tbh. It's great that tricks are do-able to, I would die if I had to stop and pick up my board just because of a higher ground sidewalk instead of a simple Ollie.

Can you please show you Ollie-ing on and off curbs with it?! I want to see how easy or hard it will be

The bear trucks and hawgz wheels /space balls bearings is a killer set up on any cruiser type deck ...especially on rough road

I would replace those plastic 1/4 inch riser pads with rubber 1/8 inch riser pads for a smoother and steadier ride

I do have that set up it’s my main one rn but its an anti hero one skate super nice

I’ve actually skated a cruiser with similar proportions before, and I can say it feels very nice. My ollies are not that high, 40-50 cm tall at best, and with the cruiser my highest ollie was prob 30-40 cm tall, so I’d say cruiser boards are worth the price, and if you can ollie, then it’s a smooth slide through the city

Just spent $220 on a cruiser and I love it! The bumpy terrain that I can't skate over with my regular skateboard feels smooth with my cruiser!

I have a similar cruiser board with a waterborne surf adapter on TKP trucks. I run 70mm wheels and with rail adapter attached havent had wheel bite once. I dont do a lot of popping or tricks but its a great pump and carve rig.

I used to ride transition with a hosoi hammerhead that had long board wheels. Super smooth and fast

I was a sector 9 guy.. land yacht was popular for the drop decks back then… 2005 ish.. I kept my best condition sector 9 board for my son.. I haven’t skated in more than 10 years.

I have a mini coffin board from them I use for cruising through the neighborhood and I like it. Easy to click Ollies and the soft wheel can slide a bit. Super fun.

Epic bro frfr I also have cruiser wheels on a trickboard but with Rubber gritape so I don’t rip my shoes when trying to do ollies. I should get embroidered griptape for unshod ollies though. My college campus/area (Quinnipiac University) is pretty rough/bumpy, so the cruiser wheels help a lot, and I can get through rockier or grassy sections if I have the speed, but it might be bad for the bearings/wheels though
