A good inexpensive scoring tool is from Dollar Tree ... the embossing tool

Flip your TH scissors the other way - you won't get the serated edge on your paper. Also - the 9" TH scissors might be right up your alley - long blade for fussy cutting. (I am the same way - love the long blades to fussy cut.) Oh - the CM tool...I am about to show the age of my tools...mine are light blue and navy...circa 1990s. I need to order a blue tip and some cleaner. Thanks for sharing your favs! My fav tools this year are all of the modified wooden handles my Dad made for my most used tools...chronic illness made crafting difficult. New handles fit better and I can craft longer. Somtimes it's the little things that make the difference.

Yep I turn them I just hate having to “think” of which way is the right way lol. I did just use someone’s long blade I might have to give those a try. 😉 I was at a friends house in her amazing craftroom and she saw my CM tool and I told her how much I love it. She said wait a second, I actually think I have that and never use it and then blues out the blue/navy one 😂😂😂. n that’s so cool that your dad made those for you 🥰

Yes my friend has one and she loves it 😉. But I do like the mat that fits in the Scorpal, not to say I won’t try the Stampin up one too 😜

I love my Creative Memories 12nch trimmer. It has special cutting blades. I know you are saying oh that’s not going to look good, but they are fantastic and I can get rid in my scissors. But my second choice is a Fiskars. I love TimHoltz ruler. Great video always love you content. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent. Oh my goodness I love my multi tool.

Thank you for the video! The Tim Holtz scissors with a serrated edge are perfect for cutting adhesive or foam squares or anything sticky. The adhesive built up is minimal. That's all I use them for. I thought the CM multi purpose tool was silly until I owned one! It is the best tool for unsticking two pieces of paper or removing a photo that has been glued down. I use the spatula end and have no idea what the pointy end is for. My favorite fussy cutting scissors are Cutter Bee. I really like my 8" Fiskars titanium scissors for everything else. My favorite trimmer is the Fiskars sure cut. I have an extra one still in the packaging in case they quit making it. And my husband has a knife sharpener that he uses to sharpen the tiny blade. Please be careful if you try this yourself, but it does add life to the blade. One other thing, no judgment here for having multiples of essential/non-essential crafting supplies!

I love seeing what tools other crafters use and how they use them. Plus, sometimes I just go to the brands website or KZfaq to learn how to use a new tool, cause we all know it is a guessing game alot of the time, lol!

My favorite ruler is the Tim Holtz. I have a back up. My favorite glue is Nuvo it has a fine tip and has never clogged. I love my silicone scoring tools, I like that they don’t mark the paper.They have the eraser at The Dollar Tree. I love We R Memories corner punch. A great purchase. My favorite cutter is by Fiskars. They are guaranteed for life. So when I have had a problem they sent me a whole new cutter. Also a little tip….turn your cutting blade around every once in awhile. Especially if you always cut in the same direction .

It’s all so hard cuz there are so many choices out there. That’s why I like to hear what peoples favorites are as well then I buy them all and decide…kinda not really 😂😂😂

Thanks Tiffany! Your video was helpful! My favorite tool is my Stampin’Up! Small scissors for fussy cutting. I never use the same scissors for paper and ribbon. I have three different pairs. One for ribbon, one for adhesive tape, and one for fussy cutting! I love using a Utility Knife to grab and peel off the covering on the Scor tape. Happy New year! Looking forward to seeing more of your awesome videos!😊

I love the Stampin Up snips. They are so sharp and cut really well. I need to see the cleaner you use. Never seen it before. Do you ever use a glass mat? If you said it already I apologize. Just had emergency surgery and can’t remember. I have several die cut machines. I like the Stampin up one and the Tim Holtz switch for an electric version. I had the Gemini and not a big fan of it.

I have the WRM glass mat but never really use it. 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a Stampin up die cutting machine. I’ll have to check that out 😉

Good video Tiffany. My 2 fave tools are my Timmy ruler and my adhesive eraser. I have a Fiskars blade trimmer which is pretty good. Also, I have a couple of Dollar Tree tools that I like a lot 😊

This was great video on fave tools. It was me that told you about shipping on magnet dishes. Yeah my cart was $15 but shipping was $30. It’s because I’m located in Canada. Apparently post office thinks Canada is on another planet. You’d never know that Canada and US are actually touching 😫🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Great video!!! Art Glitter glue, the ruler (I think I have 3), love my blue tip, ordered several. I use cutter bee sizzors (probably have 5 pairs). I never could get use to the big huge tape runner so I use the same one that you have.

Thank you. Glad that it was helpful. I use Sookwang scor tape. It’s by far the best. If I get any of the others I only use the on projects that people might throw away lol like cards, treat boxes etc. never on Mini albums 😉

Trimmers-I really have liked the cricut trimmer that's like 15" long but I hear it's discontinued so I'm watching for a new one. I'm a lefty so not all cutters are created equal. As for scissors I like my cutter bees to fussy cut. I do have the weird shaped Dress My Craft score tool and after I got used to it I just LOVE it! I'm definitely interested in a pokey tool cause I've destroyed the one I love. If you haven't emptied the store again 😂😢 I wanna try that cleaner.

i totally understand the need for several trimmers. i feel like none of them cut straight - or every brand of paper is not completely straight. so disappointing when the trimmer is a pricey one!

I’ve had large Tonic/X Cut cutters before and every time the don’t cut straight. However the smaller 6x8 is pretty good but finding that is not cutting quite straight now. My favourite is Fiskers with the little orange blade but the blades don’t last long and so expensive 😢. So trying a Tim Holz/Tonic rotary trimmer. It’s a beast and very good 👍

Yea I have a ton of the Fiskars as well but over time they start cutting crooked cuz the plastic where the blade slides between I guess gets warped or something? N yes the blades wear out easy but I did use the titanium ones and would sharpen mine with a file to last longer 😜

With your Fiskars cutter…every one I while turn the cutter around. Especially if you cut in the same direction every time. Also Fiskars are guaranteed for life if you have a problem just email customer service and email a picture of the problem. They sent me a brand new cutter.

The Tim Holtz scissors - yes the ridge! Really annoys me! Crafters Companion 9” are my fave. I don’t get on well with the small WRMK I find them hard work but they cut nicely.

Yes so annoying 🤦🏻♀️ 😂. Glad I’m not alone in that lol. WRMK has another small pair of scissors and I can’t stand those. Wonder if that’s the one that you tried. It looks similar but handle is different 🤷🏻♀️😉

I'm right there with you on trimmers. I still like my rotary trimmers the best...by Fiskars. I have the large one and a smaller one. I also have trimmers like yours only the older Stampin' Up one. They are still good trimmers just not very portable.

ROTARY! That’s what I was trying to say lol. I have a few that I haven’t been able to play with to see if I like them because I don’t have space 🤦🏻♀️😂. Maybe I’ll try them this year
