PS… the mascara you used comes as a tubing mascara if you get it in the washable waterproof formula… no smudges. Water resistant and easy removal.

The Fit Me powder has become my foundation over tinted SPF this summer. I went back and bought the translucent color for winter time. It blurs my pores like no other!

I feel the same way about a throwback for me. Revlon colorstay foundation, under the eyes and all. Minimal and I mean minimal crinkling. I heard Risa talking about FitMe powder recently. Made me curious but I'm downsizing. Only holding onto what works most of the time because as you said, time has changed how my products come off. If it stopped working for me, I get rid of it. Beautiful lipstick.

That’s a pretty look. Love the eyes and the lipstick! It’s a perfect lip color for you for everyday. Thanks for this one - I think that foundation had a very nice finish on you, too. Your description of the problem you’ve had with some mascaras described exactly what I’ve experienced over the past few years. I end up feeling like my eyes are watery and the lids are swollen (they aren’t , so far as I can see. They look fine, just FEEL that way) because they’re being scratched. At first I thought it had been too long since I’d used it and it dried out. So, next time, I opened the backup. Same thing. Then I rationalized that maybe it was just old product so I ordered more from Amazon. Same thing. I’m obviously a slow learner because I told myself that they must have sent me some old product and I bought some from Ulta that I knew was fresh. Finally, the penny dropped that it was just my eyes in combination with my tried and no longer true mascara! 😂 I then decided that perhaps I’d developed an allergy and just stopped wearing it altogether. You’ve given me hope! 🌺

Hi Lisa, I subscribed last year! And good point about finishing powder. I used to use it all the time, then stopped, then started again. It does pull everything together. Have you tried L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara? It lifts my lashes and separates beautifully. No scratchy feeling either. But I don’t wear waterproof mascara. Oh..and it doesn’t smudge or flake.

Hi Lisa, good to see you! I have a dark spot on my cheek “ hyperpigmentation “ , and no matter how much I hydrate my face before applying makeup, there is one little spot that stays dry in that area and my makeup settles there. I use my sponge to dab at it and I still have it. Only noticeable with foundation. I use It foundation. Am I doing something wrong? I never use powder because I don’t like how it looks on my face. Thank you!

I did one and it actually was not viewed very well. So I just decided not to try another dedicated video but just mix in my cruelty free and regular products.

My skin care routine does not change. I just did a video put your money where your mouth is, where I talk about my skin care routine and the products I use. Pretty much the same products that you will find six months earlier on my last previous video. The only difference with the put your money where your mouth is video is my night cream because I actually use La Mer at night but I wasn’t about to buy that for my friends lol

Re: Born to Glow Foundation: I'm 75 can easily pass for younger, No craws ft etc but have some age spots on cheeks. I LIKE DEWY/inner glow rather than dull/and evens out, I have dry sensitive skin. Does this foundation settle into lines? I'm a fair to med.neutral tho bending towards slight pinky not orangy undertones in foundation. Have grn eyes.LOVE YOUR VIDEO

It does not settle into lines on me at all. It really is a lovely foundation that rivals high end brands!! More limited in shades, so hopefully you can find one that works for you! 💕

Your eyes look beautiful! I am 58 and wear glasses. Any special tips for those of us who wear glasses? I feel like I get all of this makeup done on my eyes and then they’re hidden behind my glasses.

It really depends if you’re nearsighted or farsighted. Because some lenses make your eyes look bigger and others smaller. I think having nice brows and then a nice liner on the upper lid and your lashes curled, that helps emphasize the eyes with either type of lens

@@LisaMonique I hadn’t thought of the difference in the lenses based on my eyesight. I am far sighted, so would my lenses make my eyes look bigger or smaller?

Didnt you use the NYX before tho and cover it? My fave fdtn. No C Pop in my d/s either but they fit the bill pricewise. I looked thru the list, missed who made the cheek stain you show after yr sponge, duh. Got the rephr curler, not so great on my clean lashes, no hold at all but I will clean any residue of serums etc off, try again, and also put mascara on and see if it works better that way as well. I'm subbed but I get it, sometimes we have too many subscriptions and cant get to them all. However the ppl I watch regularly I always sub to and it the bell! Hi Lisa, can you please recommend a mascara that is waterproof and doesn't transfer? I live in South Carolina where it is very hot and HUMID. I spend lots of time outdoors. I have hooded eyes and get transfer from my upper lashes to under my eyes throughout the day. Help!

I agree, Natalie. I've been using Thrive's Liquid Lash Extensions mascara, which is waterproof, for the past few years. It's the only one I've found that stays in place during Washington DC's nasty humid summers. I'm crazy about it!

I have not because I honestly don’t have any of the drugstore brushes anymore. But I’m sure there are some videos out there. But brushes are just tools, I can do my make up with my fingers and a sponge tip applicator and be happy also. 😊

Oh, I’ve had cheaper brushes, and they are just pricklier, and synthetic bristles are known to not pick up powder pigment,as well as natural bristles as natural bristles actually have a cuticle but you can make do with whatever you have. I just prefer the super soft brushes 😊. But before I had them, I use real techniques.

Hallo 🧡🤎🧡 This is a beautiful look on you. I will have to try the Fitme finishing powder, thank you. Have you tried the blinc tubbing mascara? I received it in Allure beauty box and I am really liking it. I agree the elf no budge sticks and colourpop quads are really nice. I have a bin for quick looks and those are in that bin.
