a week to be wicked is one of the besttttt tessa dares! and the cheat sheet is mutual pining the novel. (i have a soft spot for it cacuse it was the book i read on my birthday at the spa so it makes me feel cozy)

Not So Truly Yours by Julia Wolf & The Ick Factor by Morgan Elizabeth are two fake dating romances I've read recently, and they are both perfection. Great MMCs & MFCs plus side characters (and available on KU).

You need to read Maybe This Time by Cara Bastone. It was so good, but it's only available as a audio. ❤😊 I highly recommend it.

True story: I started reading "Finding Gene Kelly" while I was waiting to go into surgery for a hysterectomy, but I've never picked it up again. I'll definitely have to get back to it!

Wow so many books with this trope! I'm just at the beginning of The Rake Review Jilted in January and there's fake dating in there too! Tara talked about Lovelight Farms too! I've got to read that one. When you do these rec videos, how do you remember/keep track of the books with these tropes?

Oh I hope you're loving Jilted in January! I want to read all of those so badly, but of course I signed up for too many ARCs, so I'll have to live vicariously through you! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on each of them!! Oh Megan, you are going to LOVE Lovelight Farms. LOVE. I mean...LOVE. 💕 I'd like to say that for videos like these I have a handy dandy spreadsheet of every book with its tropes, but I don't, LOL. I need to do that someday, LOL. For lots of videos I want to do, I have a Word document that I say things like: "Best Fake Dating Books" and then as I read books I want to add, I put them in under that particular video topic idea. But with this one, I actually delved back into all of my "books read" documents and went line by line, focusing on books I gave high ratings to, and then had to think about whether they included fake dating or not. 😆 It was work, but it was FUN!!

I’m especially excited for next month’s book, Kate Bateman’s next Ruthless Rivals! Wow very high praise for Lovelight Farms. I will try and get to it ASAP. Lol I did imagine a spreadsheet (that’s what I would end up doing), but sounds like your document strategy is working well so far. I’m glad you have fun making each video! 😊
