no issues with their branding. the audience i sale these too out here in LA. wear pro club blanks all the time. its an easy sale when i tell them i print on pro club. they know the fit and feel. there Comfor/Active shirts come with tear away tags. for some reason none of their heavy weight stuff does. t shirts and hoodies and jackets are all covered in sewn on branding

vinyl is cut from a roll and plastisol transfers are screen printed transfers. i use my vinyl cutter and htv to test out my designs. depending how the test goes, i order plastisol transfers of that design for retail. its important to order htv or plastisol transfers based on the material you are pressing on. a transfer made for cotton will not adhere to nylon. a transfer made for nylon will not apply to something cotton. different application settings for different htv or transfers

@@BigBrandoh ohhh ok, so the vinyl is just for testing, copy! I understand the different transfer/ htv types made for different materials. Is your preference for plastisol transfers based on durability? Were the results you compared between the two nylon coach jackets only equivalent in the short term, & in the long run you would expect the plastisol transfer to last a lot longer? Thanks for taking the time out to respond to my questions btw. I'm considering buying a graphtec cutter & hotronix fusion heatpress, but if the plastisol transfers are wayy better quality I'd rather stick with a humble silhouette cameo 3 to test designs like you mentioned and order the plastisol transfers. I'd save myself 2g's!

best tip i can give is do your best to center the design. and adjust your pressure to compensate for the thickness.

nah. for me, Pro Club is a well liked brand to my audience so showing that its printed on Pro Club makes the sell easier. Its like if you printed on champion, People would wear champion blank just with the C logo. so showing that its printed on champion, is an easy way to make them buy.

i dont got a video showing that, i probably wont be making a video showing that. i rarely layer vinyl. doing multi color htv, requires cutting each color out separately and then layering them on top of each other. You gotta make sure your registration is dead on in order for it to work. its a pain in the ass, so i rarely do it.

i used to screen print. i dont have the room for it anymore. easier for me to use screen printed transfers now.

thats retail price. wholesale prices range from $11-$14 depending on size and color. sometimes you can catch a sale for $9-$12 and then i stock up. hahaa

i have no idea. i've never targeted athletes or young athletes. i have no idea what they like or what they wear currently. my only advice would be to know what they like, what they wear currently, how they like stuff to fit them and also what they dislike in hoodies. that way it'll help you offer them exactly what they want to make the sell that much easier.

not sure what kind of paper you have but i suggest testing it out first before production. i dont know what the issue could be. i dont know what you are comparing it against and i dont know what your end result should be. the only advice i could give you is trial and error. the suggested application instructions should be a good starting point for you but you have to make minor adjustments to the settings to make it work with your setup. all presses are different.

if you use vinyl why not just use vinyl decals? no need for a heat press. most people i know that do lighters, have the lighters screen printed.

Big Brandoh I know most people do screen printing. But it’s expensive to mail them because they’re flammable. So I’m looking to do short run for live events. And a vinyl sticker just stuck on them feels cheap to me. I’m not sure I’d be comfortable selling a lighter with a sticker just stuck on. That’s why I was going to try plastisol. But I don’t want to blow the lighter up with the heat

you cant heat press on a lighter. plastisol heat transfers are applied with heat onto cotton. the heat cures the ink on to the cotton.

it shrinks but not by alot. also doesnt pill like some of the other hoodies. but you gotta remember, its cotton. cotton will always shrink.

all depends, could be $12, could be $18 depends on color, size and availability.

i honestly have no idea what your talkin about. what kind of transfers, HTV? Plastisol Transfer? what kind of yellow things? is it ink? burn marks? and what do you mean "for colors"??? colored t shirts, multi color prints?

Big Brandoh i print my logo on transfer paper then use heat transfer to put it on my tshirts. White tshirts, but the logo has many colours. Actually the yellow thing is like a shadow, i get the logo transferred on but i get the yellow things too. it’s like “dyeing” the logo onto the tee

are you printing the transfers yourself? are they screen printed transfers or printed from your desk top printer? cotton shirt, polyester shirt?

sounds like its your prints. i dont print transfers from home so im not 100% sure. i only use screen printed transfers. but it could be banding from your printer. thats leaving yellow ink on your transfers. that would be my only guess. like i said i dont use desktop transfers.

could be alot of stuff. could be not enough heat, too much heat, not enough pressure, moisture in your shirt when you pressed it or didnt press long enough. test out some different temps, different durations, different pressure to dial in your settings for your set up

not too thin. its all in the application. how it is applied determines how it will hold up in the wash. test out different settings. throw it in the wash and see how it holds up. this will show you what the correct setting for your set up will be to achieve a proper press. vinyl can out live the shirt its pressed on. as long as you apply it correctly.

Big Brandoh may I ask when I place the vinyl on the shirt before pressing, do I need to apply anything to cover it ? I am using a thermoflex plus 330 degrees for 15 seconds. I don’t know how to test it. Waste a shirt for it ? I appreciate for your answers ! I can’t find a solid answer online!! Thank you!

you already washed a shirt and it cracked. test out different temps on that same shirt. press the sleeves the back turn inside out press every where. obviously 330 for 15 secs disnt work. try going hotter, try going cooler, try pressing longer, try pressing heavier, lighter etc. you have to find your own settings that work for your set up. cut little pieces of vinyl out to test, doesnt have to be a full design. cut the shit with scissors. you have to put in the work to get the best results.

both are dope. depends how many you plan on creating, are you creating from home, how many colors in your design, size of your design, if you are doing this from home... do you have the space to screen print, burn screens, wash screens, pressure wash and a dark room to coat screens with emulsion, space for flash dryer or conveyor belt dryer?

Big Brandoh I’m starting small and thinking about doing it from home and cut out the middle man and no I have no room or the budget for all that. Just wondering would I be sacrificing quality if I didn’t pay a screen printing company to do it for me?

also think about over stock. you pay a screen printer to create your shirts for you. theres a minimum required. you take the risk of guessing what sizes you need. what do you do with the sizes you cant sale or the designs you cant sale? having dead stock is rough for start up businesses. take a look around my channel, lots of useful info for start up brands doing it from home and doin it on a budget

not sure. weight can be a factor, also body build can be a factor. they fit true to size. im around 5'10 5'11. i can wear XL or XXL my brother is the same height but wears a Large. all depends on whos wearing it and how they want it to fit

do you like bella or next level? it doesnt matter what i like. it depends on what you like and what you want to offer your customers. what if i said "i hate those brands" you gona not use them? but lets say, your customers love those brands. you'd jeopardize your sales based on somebody elses personal preference. get me? buying blank shirts is all personal preference. it would be a good idea to buy some different shirts and make your judgement off of what you like from there.

yeah i create brands and eventually sale them. Gardena Originals was sold a few years ago and is still in operation I think. LFTOVRZ was sold in 2017 not sure if they are in operation or if they changed the name.

it all depends on what you are gona use it for. i used to have a bigger cutter. (gcc expert, us cutter) but i was only cutting 15inch rolls of vinyl. never cut 24" rolls so it was over kill to have a big cutter. so i got the cameo to save space and cuz i only make t shirts with it and dont need to cut bigger than 12inches. i can feed a 15" roll but it will only cut up to 12" but thats fine for what i do. my heat press is only 15x15 so i dont need to cut designs bigger than that cuz then my press cant even put that design on a shirt. get me. check the links in my description box for presses and cutters

for you it might be a no no but for me its the biggest selling point. people in LA where pro club shirts and hoodies Blank all day long. when you say its printed on pro club they know their sizing and the quality so they buy because its printed on pro club. but thats just me. For blanks its all personal preference. what you like and what you wanna offer your customers is all up to you. for one of my other brands, they dont like heavy weight hoodies or shirts so Pro Club isnt a selling point for them. i print on blanks based on who im sellin too

Big Brandoh definitely and being in LA and selling pro clubs must work wonders for you like gildan does for others . I always wanted to try some of their products but never did.
