Күн бұрын2020 just wasn’t the same without being able to make it not only just to the North Fork itself, but to miss the North Fork Championship was even harder. This year having it back was so epic, it was just unreal being back with everyone training and racing. This video gives a little bit of an idea of what the training looks like going into the main event. It’s my favorite kind of training, being able to just do laps on laps. Trying different lines, plenty of trial and error, I love it!

It was the most impressive thing I've ever seen! My favorite day of the North Fork Championship are the days before and I got up there for ABC in Boise to get some video and get interviews. I didn't even try to interview Dane because he was on a mission. I've never seen anything like it he ran that rapid like ten times in the hour I was there and he walked his boat back up and did it again pretty amazing!

Hey dane, just figured i'd ask. Could you possibly make a video on your days off on what to get and what not to get starting out white water kayaking? Kinda like a in depth on what to look for in a boat etc... Cheers!

@@FetamWoW Dude. Don’t buy anything. Take a couple weekend courses first. Then take a swift water rescue.course. Take a throw bag for instance (which you mentioned). There is a ton a danger related to using a throw bag if you don’t know when and where it is appropriate to use. Also, Dane is not the person to ask for this advice. He literally grew up as a child with unlimited gear and traveling the globe kayaking everyday with his kayaking champion father. Probably isn’t gonna relate well to the average new comer.

What boat would you recommend for a beginner kayaker that would also be a good for class 5 runs?

a nomad would also be good, and if you wanna get something second hand i'd say go for a machno, but it's all prefernce! you can run class 3 in a creek boat and class 5 in a playboat, it's all about how creative you are on the river! paddle whatever makes you feel happy, safe, and most importantly, what is fun for you to paddle!

@Makailann Goodall is a boat like the Rewind or Antix 2.0 more fun to paddle then something like a Mamba?
