This is favorite new color and possibly my 2nd favorite color of all. I do pretty much love every color but this looks great and if you haven't seen a Stingray R here is your chance. I wish they offered that hood stripe without the skull and other decals. I think the solid black would look more clean.

Yeah. It’s not for everyone. I don’t like the flag on top too much. I did at first but the more I see it the less I like it. Lol

Happy Belated Birthday Robert🎈…. That Hyper Gray is nice and that seat is uncomfortable but perfect for the track. On another note i will see if i could get a flight down to DFW. Because I know my wife wants to go to Houston. And you they have a corvette world there also ✌🏽

I love the Ceramic Matrix Grey as well. Someone near where I live has a CMG C8. Love it on the C8 too.

Robert saw the Caffeine at Carlisle this year and said it was awesome! Tons of metallic flake. I definitely think I’d have to go gray out of the 2.

Absolutely. Either a Verde Ithaca or Verda Mantis Lambo green would be awesome. Purple would be another great option like you said. Not sure GM will go super car colors but we’ll see. I sure hope so.

At .42 in the video, look at the mis alignment of the hood, left side versus right side... the gap is very noticeable! I would expect this on a 2020 model but come on GM for $120k you must do better!

This is my exact build except the interior is natural and I have the base rims which I like much better in person. I will be painting them black or gun metal.

My '22 HTC Z51 is similar with the Stingray R package. Black 3LT with Adrenaline Red tho. Stingray R with 5VM aero and hi wing with the machined Spectra Gray Tridents. No front lift as, I didn't really like it,, nor use it much after the first few novelty lifts on my '20 Z51 coupe that I sold back in June.

Rob, not sure if my car I sold to the dealership was at Houston or the Dallas one…it was a 2020 and was one of the last ones made. For that year. It was white HTC with only the nacelles painted carbon flash. It sold fairly quickly from your dealership. You had it listed at $109xxx. I like watching your inventory selection. Good work!!

That’s the stock one in carbon flash I believe. Look up the Z06 style rocker on Extreme Online Store. I think it looks like that. Or similar. You may like it. My friend has one and it looks really good.

I love the HTC! I want to keep my C7 Z but honestly if I am able to get the C8 Z I’ll sell it. I’m hoping my allocation gets a good place in line.

I do too. I really like Accelerate Yellow but between the 2 C8.R’s the Hypersonic Gray is way better.

65% of cars on the road are either white / silver-gray or black. I guess it makes for a good resale color but the downside it's common. I think I would want a unique color on a new style of car like the c8

I’d love to see a nice green like the Verde Ithaca or Verde Mantis of Lamborghini. I intend to order the Accelerate yellow on my Z06. I’m not a huge fan of it on the Stingray but I think it looks great on the Z. If I’m unable to get a Z I’ll probably get a base and do the Hypersonic gray but I’ll eventually wrap it. My current Z being yellow has a lot of pop and I love it. My friend’s Stingray is red so we stand out when driving together. I agree with your point 100% of not wanting to be common.

@@FrontSeatDriver yea, my mom's 98 Cadillac STS is an emerald green. I'm not big on green but I love the green on her car. When you look close at the metallic it has yellow, blue, red flakes. I use the ceramic wax on her car and my 98 Trans Am in Sebring silver ( a couple of shades lighter then this c8 gray) and both are original paint and look brand new. I guess 98 was a good year for GM paint. LOL- GM had trouble with their silver years ago but eventually corrected. I have read alot of comments on c8 videos and ppl are wanting to see a purple on the c8. I think it would look cool in the right shade. I have thought about maybe getting a c8, but the pricing and delays have me concerned. I still might get a low milage c6 ragtop. I love the c6 body style

@@FrontSeatDriver I'm an airbrush painter usually on jackets and guitars and have painted a few cars. I really don't like the wraps because it's not good for the paint as the paint need to breathe, There is no way I would put it on a new paint job

@@FrontSeatDriver I have airbrushed several shades of purple and I have a few in mind that would look killer on a c8. Remember shades of purple goes in 2 directions - some have more red and some more blue. I think color shifting purple where in a certain angle it turns more blue plus add big flakes of metallic would make it really pop. I don't really like purple that leans more toa red shade but that's just me. But yea speaking of yellow last night I was looking at a c6 for sale in yellow and damn it looks killer and I'm not a big fan of yellow but on a Vette looks great. I hope you can get a c8 Z06. I would like to get one myself for the right price. How much do you think you can get one for? Last night I found a c6 Convert with only 1500 miles for only $34k. Just by putting headers and borlas on a LS3 motor and you can get 495 hp like the c8

@@johncarlo2630 Oh yeah. There are a few here also doing MSRP. Unfortunately Corvette World doesn’t get cars from GM. They get them from people that got an allocation. They’re in the same boat price was as McMulkin when it comes to used cars. High priced.

Lol. More weight. Probably a few ounces. I looked it up this morning because I didn’t ask Rob. Turns out it’s a decal package. The Jake skull stinger which I love and the stickers that say Stingray R. That’s all I could find on it. I believe it is a $495 option.

You mean the person who bought it? Yeah. He probably did. Corvette World doesn’t get cars from GM. Only from people that did. They didn’t buy the car for $69k. If they did I would NEVER promote them.

Eh. I like it. Most of my Corvette friends like it better. I was the last one to jump on board but I do like it. However the Z06 wing is FAR better in my opinion.

Go to small dealer that how I got mine. No makeup I only waited about 9 months. Right now my C8 is accepted by production. My build coupe Z51 , front lift , 3LT only $87K . It will be 2022 model. Oh also got engine appearance led light. For for that $87K

@@FrontSeatDriver Accelerate yellow. I’m going to add the aftermarket 5VM side skirt and 5VM front lift . I just like the look of 5VM style
