You did an excellent job breaking this down and explaining it. I've had it for a while. To my untrained nose, I couldn't describe it before other than the almond expression, but while listening to you, I can concur.

Wow! That fragrance has beautiful notes, all I love. I'm going to order a sample right away.👍I tried from the house Amber Oud pretty similar to Erba Pura from Xerjoff and it's was very affordable.

I'm a man wearing Royale Stallion today, and to my amateur senses it smells almost like a fresh brewed root beer (almond?) with a soft hint of vanilla and a fresh powder undertone. Also a hint of spice. When sprayed on a tester strip this one smelled EXTREMELY powdery and lady-like and I was initially put off. After wearing it I would say this one is unisex, but would lean slightly more masculine. The juice is also very oily and long lasting on the skin.

@@Tommelise yeah unfortunately they discontinued it 😔 It opens with a big bright blast of tart tangy fruits , so juicy you'll be salivating. Then a big cloud of gorgeous powdery violets dust the whole thing , all the while a underlying woodyness remains present . It's so good.

Great video! I've had Royale Stallion on my wish list for a while now. I've heard multiple people mention that this is a clone/cheaper alternative of Parfums De Marly Pegasus (the name Royale Stallion might even be a direct allusion to Pegasus). Have you smelled Pegasus? I'd love to hear your take!

Hi Jim, I heard that it should be similar to Pegasus which I haven't tried myself yet and didn't know this is a clone or something by the time I did my review. The only thing I know is that Royale Stallion is awesome

Good evening Yana! I loved your review today. The way you describe the fragrance is so energetic and you make it seem so alluring! If you are looking for a lavender scent, I can suggest Pour Un Homme de Caron from 1934. It is supposed to be for a man but nowdays I don't think that means all that much, although it might have a timeless vibe. The colour of your top, hair, make up, everything today was wonderful. You looked gorgeous.

@@Tommelise I think it certainly has a feel of that, but I think every now and again it is a very nice one when you are in the mood for that type the scent. I haven't tried the Civet Cat Chypre one yet. I'm not sure animalic fragrances suit me that well.

That one will! Its not too animalic, actually civet is barely noticeable and it has sparkling fresh bergamot and beautiful flowers. You should check it out;)

I just received a travel size, and I do love it! It does snell a bit like hypnotic poison, so I’m glad I didn’t buy it the other day. It has a very slight bitterness/ burnt rubber smell. What do you think that is? I smell it a lot in niche and middle eastern inspired perfumes these days. I think Marc Jacobs Decadence has that tinge as well but more pronounced. .

I've heard multiple fragrance reviewers say that this is very, very similar to Parfums De Marly Pegasus--nearing clone territory. I'm not a fragrance expert nor have I smelled either Pegasus or Royale Stallion, but I think it may be a clone and/or cheaper alternative.

So crazy your doing a powder fragrance! I've been obsessing with doll head soft powder fragrance... I like loukhoum, and French kiss, and mukhulat .... please let me know if this is in that category! I'm wondering if the cumin will ruin it???😘🥰

Nicole, noo cumin doesn't ruin it but makes it sex! And I too just adore Loukhoum and French kiss (hopefully they will be mine this year, sooner or later) and it's definitely from their team. Blind by worthy:))) But please don't kill me, if you don't like it:) But I am sure you will enjoy it!

Al haramain Junoon Noir is by far the best I have tried from this house. It is sooooo beautiful! Is this one at all similar to Junoon rose? Can you compare the two? Their differences? I am intrigued to try this but Junoon rose unfortunately did not work out for me so I am hoping this is different from that.

Unfortunately, I haven't tried it out yet so I can't compare it to my fav Junoon rose(I guess they are very different because notes are pretty different?). Maybe I'll find a way to do that. So interesting that some say the original junoon rose didn't work out for them because this new version is my signature scent and absolute hit. Reminds me a bit of that Amouage's Blossom love

Junoon noir and Junoon Rose are not similar at all :) I actually ment to compare Royale Stallion to Junoon Rose :) Are they at all similar? They both seem to have a dominant almond note, does it smell similar in the two?

oh ok. Let me wear them tomorrow and I will come back to you. But both are pretty powdery (which I LOVE) only Junoon Rose is very sweet which RS isn't. It's more oriental

I just bought the amber oud rouge. The clone for the br540 extrait. I have the original br540 and let me tell you, it’s smells almost exact. The only thing that was off putting in the beginning spray is that “band-aid” smell. But I read that’s the oud. I love it and use it as a sub when I want to smell like br540 but don’t want to use mine. Lol 😂

I have the 540 extrait and amber oud rouge as well, it's the same scent to me honestly. I might have to retire both though, a girl said "he's wearing ariana grande" and chuckled to her mom at home Depot yesterday 😶

I never tried al haramain perfumes before but I'm not a huge fan of lavender and bergamot. My only exception is mon guerlain. But I will give it a try to see if it's that amazing. I love perfume but my nose hasn't developed that much, I struggle with animalic , honey, coconut and spicy notes. I also am very picky, since I don't like dry woody scents. I,m searching an perfume that I can wear daily with an vibe like mon guerlain. Atm I,m saving up for an everyday perfume.

lavender in here is just perfect, not annoying powdery and barely noticeable. IT is definitely about vanillic almonds and powder

Hello!! .. I love Al Haramain perfumes .. Could you please advise me a perfume of the brand Al Haramain whith "oud"? I want to complete my collection with an oud perfume (oud / rose combination for example) but I want it to be "light" enough to begin with .. do you have any advice on oud perfume that is not too heady? thank you so much!

I love amber oud and amber oud gold by this brand. But unfortunately can’t stand Junoon rose. I thinks it’s too synthetic and smells like cheap rose detergent to me.

Tina M I also am a bit disapointed in Junoon Rose, thought I would it judging from the notes but found it too synthetic also. HowererJunoon Noir is amazing! If you haven’t tried it you need to get your nose on it. It is heavenly :)

Ok I bought this fragrance and I do not like it at all... I offense of course but let me warn people that this is a very masculine fragrance with an EXTREMELY metallic smell overall .... I pray I can return .. but if you're after thy type .. then it's good as that! But I was looking for a female it feminine powdey fragrance and this is the exact opposite .... try before you buy unless you're looking for a kind of sweet very metallic very masculine fragrance

Nicole, OMG I am so sorry. Such a pity you don't like it. I don't get anything metallic out of it (thanks God cause I hate those) but sexy powder..but I can imagine that almonds work like that on your skin, it's a tricky note. Thanks for sharing your experience

Tommelise Thanks for being nice about it… I have to say your taste is very different… I guess everyone's is… But it seems very unique LOL… I wish I would've known men's fragrance, It's extremely masculine… And a little cheap kind of in my opinion, kind of like vanilla crumble was as well… It's tough to find people that the same taste as you do 😊
