Can you cover some of the behind the scene stuff - like what is under the badminton court rubber mat - 2.5 cm thick of wood or rubber mat and then concrete underneath? Do the venue adjust the ventilation system to reduce the draft on the courts? How do they test the draft setup? What is the lighting requirement on the court? What is used to ensure the players are not blinded by the bright light? What speed of the shuttle is used? Who was conducting the testing of the shuttle? Was it done everyday or every 6 hours?

Da du drum gebeten hast, ich sag hi und hallo, wenn ich dich im blauen shirt sehe😄 wünsche für insides: alles, was der normale zuschauer nicht mitbekommt. Tagesablauf der Spieler, interviews der deutschen TeilnehmerInnen, Erklärung der Abläufe bei so einem Turnier etc… Viel Spass uns allen💪🏻

Und Zack, An Se Young hat abgesagt. Wird immer noch spektakuläres Badminton zu sehen geben, aber es gab definitiv stärker besetzte Jahrgänge. Hängt das vielleicht damit zusammen, dass die French Open und All England dieses Jahr so nah aneinander sind (was für sich genommen schon super unglücklich ist)?

Sorry für die späte Antwort. Ja der veränderte Kalender hat definitiv dazu geführt dass sich die absolute Weltspitze auf das Restevent in Paris und all England konzentriert haben. Aber nächstes Jahr ist der Turnierkalender wieder wie bisher also German Open vor all England und vermutlich wieder mit mega Teilnehmerfeld 🤩
