Interesting you consider Royal Tobacco huge. Don’t really get that on my skin, apart from the opening. Love this video. Some I haven’t considered a tobacco scent, so was eye opening and found out I have quite a lot from this list 😅 So likely my or at least one of my favorite notes. Recently sold Herod. For some reason it doesn’t fit my taste anymore. Just too sweet. I have the same with Naxos, but that’s still borderline ok

Can someone help me out? I’m fairly new to niche (only began collecting this year) and Tiago keeps using the word “vegetal” (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) when describing particular notes. Can someone explain what he is saying about that note? I’ve tried looking the term up in various perfume dictionaries without any luck, and the regular dictionary just says “relating to plants”. But that doesn’t really fit, or is that what Tiago is saying? Any help would be appreciated. By the way, I just got Or du Serail this week, and it is fantastic. This was my first Naomi Goodsir. I’m also interested in Iris Cendre (I love Iris) if I can figure out what it means to have a note of “vegetal Iris". Thanks and be well.
