I like the idea of the heattech, but I hate how it’s a bit loose, base layers should generally be fitted for maximum effectiveness, plus that sweat be trickling fr

Yeah I understand what you mean. I guess you could size down but it’ll never be quite the same as Under Armour for example!

The under armour compression shirts are a really good alternative if you've never tried them before, they're a staple for me.

Ahh James you always look amazing in eveything. I wanna get the heat tech long sleeve but don’t know if I go true to size or size down I want it fitted but not sure if the sleeves will be too short someone said the sleeves come up super short on these did u find that ?

I didn’t find any issue with sleeve length but I think my arms might be on the shorter side. Because I usually find sleeves are too long for me on most tops!

Nice pieces !!! I think I'm gonna pick up some of their heattech tops (perhaps tights too) based on yours and Tim Dessaint's recommendation ..for this NYC cold. My wife also wears them., I haven't tried it myself. All I see on sale are " Extra Warm" heattech now..Is it the same as Ultra Warm? And are you part Chinese btw??

Ultra warm is thickest, then extra warm is thinner. I would get the ultra warm if it’s cold in your area, it’s really comfortable. And yes I am!

Hey James, great video ! I just picked up the coat yesterday thinking it was black, the navy color is barely noticeable lol. Do you have a hard time seeing the blue as well ? Because I'm wearing it to complete my black outfits x)

Yep it looks almost completely black haha. A lot of people think it’s black, you can only see the blue in certain lighting!

I want to see more ann d backlace and aero custom leather jacket james and less uniqlo james. every fashion youtuber talks about uniqlo, and its nice to see other unique pieces that showcase your tastes! I get it though - the uniqlo videos probably perform well.

I hate how all of uniqlo's best pieces are ... constantly out of stock both online and in store. it's a crime. so many pieces I've had my eye on and just never ever got because of availability.

Yeah it’s really frustrating! But honestly check their website often (if you can be bothered). Because pieces come in and out of stock every few hours.

How do you not get sweaty? Every time I have to walk any significant amount of distance I start sweating even in a light jacket. I live in sub zero weather.

That does happen to me sometimes! The thermals I showed really help a lot though. They wick aware moisture and keep your body at a constant temperature.

It’s definitely in Europe. It might have sold out though? They remove items from the website when they sell out.

I got the fleece one with a pocket on the side. How would you dress it up for a drizzling rainy day? A trench coat? Or is there a nice coat like the Balmacan one which is good on rainy days too?

I feel like a rain coat is the only thing I’m missing from my wardrobe at the moment! Trench coat is a great option as they are water resistant. Unfortunately the Balmacaan wouldn’t be the best in the rain as it’s just a wool blend and would get soaked. You’ve got me thinking that I should do a video on rain coats now 😂

These are the straight leg Selvedge from Uniqlo. Unfortunately they don’t sell them anymore but they do sell slim Selvedge!

They’re the Uniqlo Selvedge from 2022. Unfortunately they stopped selling them in the straight fit I’m wearing, but they sell a slim version now.
