I love you all; thank you for the incredible ride.

We’re a Minnesota hockey family with a 14 year old that’s trying lacrosse this year. Your videos and information have been SO extremely helpful and I just successfully strung a stick tonight. Now I’m going through the rest of your videos. From a random dad, thank you and I wish you all the best!

Hey Chris after listening to your story it really resonated with me and my own struggles. I''ve spent 9 years away from lacrosse and only recently rekindled my passion for the game after I discovered your channel. Personal anecdote time: From 5th grade all the way up through high school I was a lacrosse fiend and it became a part of my identity. When I got to college my freshman year I was lucky enough to continue playing MCLA at Iowa (let's go big 10). After my freshman year I decided to take a gap year so I could get in-state residency. One unfortunate side effect was that I was ineligible to play on the team. That sophomore year was a rough time. After losing lacrosse I began to withdraw from other things I used to enjoy. That year was the beginning of a battle with depression that I am still fighting today. I convinced myself that lacrosse was over for me and even after that gap-year I never returned to the field. Fast-forward to now and depression is still something that still weighs heavy on me but a week or two ago I somehow stumbled onto one of your stringing videos and it inspired me to pick up my stick again. I ordered some mesh and strung up a new head which was really cathartic in a way. It has inspired me to get back out there and I'm heading over to a field this weekend to take some shots and shake off the rust (seriously haven't shot on a goal since 2013 haha). Who knows maybe I'll carry this inspiration forward and get involved with youth coaching or get back into a men's league. Anyways I just wanted to thank you for being a catalyst to get me taking the first steps on returning to play the game that I've missed. Wishing you the best of luck on the next step of your journey, Sam

It's been years since I played lacrosse but I'll never forget the hours I spent stringing mine and others' sticks. I learned from a few different people, but you had the most detailed, innovative information out there and this channel was my go to for stringing sticks. I spent hours on hours trying different methods and scouring your videos to figure out what the best method would be. I miss those days where my biggest worry was deciding between a 1SI or 2SI. Simpler times. I'm glad you're doing better mentally and are moving towards your goals and aspirations. It means a lot to know that someone I learned so much from is doing well and has found passion for life. This crazy experience is, like you said, so unbelievably worth it. There are hard days, days where we don't want to be here at all. But on the best and brightest days, we find endless gratitude for life and for purpose. I'm honored to have experienced a part of your journey. An end of an era doesn't mean the end of the story. I have faith that one day we will cross paths. For now I pray for you and wish you the best. Godspeed.

Congrats! Thank you, Chris. You unknowingly have influenced me and helped dozens of kids just through subscribing to your channel. I started stringing my son's sticks 8 years ago using either your patterns or pocket theory. When others saw my copies of your work, they assumed I knew the game and was asked to not only string other kids sticks but also coach. I'd never played! But I learned, and 8 years later I'm helping coach at a local HS. Many of those same kids still ask me string for them today. Your channel, whether helping people experience a better version of this game, or talking about your personal struggles, has had a cascading effect. A very positive one. Thank you and best of luck!

Thank you Chris, I’m happy to hear you’re in such a better place now. You’re really the one that taught me how to string my sticks back when I played in high school. I’m currently a senior in college and remember watching your videos all the way back in middle school. I used a Nike CEO all throughout the time I played and used your pattern specifically. I’m getting a little emotional as I’m typing this up in my college dorm ‘cause i’m looking over at one of the CEOs I used, with your pattern still strung up on it. So, thank you for everything and good luck with your master’s!

Chris thank you, you are the reason I learned how to string and kept at it y with your consistent uploads. You're the reason I stayed in lacrosse for so long because I found a liking to learning all about gear and my favorite, the whip video. It helped me tune my stringing and grow my understanding to be able to help newer teammates having whip problems and even got me to the point that I could restring my stick in a pinch before a game if something was wrong. It's sad to see you go, but you'll always remain in my memories as an influential channel and an amazing guy. Thx chris 💕💕
