Great catch and great story. Congrats man! Your attitude is the best part. I lost a 50-52" range fish my first year musky fishing on topwater. Woulda been my first 50. That fish haunted me for a long time. I had to catch 75 muskies and then #76 decided to eat. 52.25" and my first 50. I immediately remembered the wise words of a friend (that is a guide), "You'll appreciate your first 50 more because you've worked so hard for it". He was right. My own spot that I've fished for years, casting from shore the way I always do, and it finally happened on my home waters in Southern WI. All of those feelings I experienced that day came back to me while watching your vid, so thank you. Check out my channel when you get a chance, lots of musky content.
