Hi GNARLEE, thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! Second Ave is always so damn stressful during rush hour because it's from the Upper East Side all the way down to Bowery. It's sheer madness and we haven't hit the peak of summer congestion yet lol. Maybe I'll make a video where I'll be riding through rush hour with out leaving the bike lane lol. I'm cringing at the thought of it but it could be fun to watch!

So grateful for these videos. Whether it is ebikes or scooters. Of course you have to experience NYC riding for yourself, but this really helps, and great tips. Maybe a silly question, but would you ever lock up your Super73 up for a few hours during the day? What is your strategy parking strategy or do you never park on the street?
@eyebahnrides

Hi Nico, thanks for watching the videos and welcome to the channel! I appreciate your kind words and I'm glad my videos help. Riding in NYC is definitely something that you have to experience first hand! My biggest regret from our trip to Sicily was not riding on a moped or escooter while I was in Catania and Palermo because it seemed like alot of fun navigating that organized madness lol. To be honest I would never lock up my S73 or my Scooter in the street for longer than a few minutes. Thieves in NYC are professionals and your PEV can be stolen in a matter of seconds. I only lock it up when I can maintain a clear line of sight to them and its within a few feet of me. On a daily basis, I store my PEVs in my apartment and in my office's bike room. I see people chain their Ebikes/ Scooters to poles in public spaces all the time but I will never do it my self . I wish I had a more positive response but this is the unfortunate truth lol.

Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! It's the same in NYC. The bike infrastructure is still being built out so there are areas that have them and some areas that don't. They really need to expand the width of lanes and build out the infrastructure faster because it's already overwhelmed with the current amount of people using it. The condition of the roads in the bike lanes are also pretty bad! Even during my fixed gear/ road bike days, I was way more comfortable in traffic than the limited bike lanes we had.

This is how e-bike meetups should be (or any bike/motorcycle meetup). So much better than that garbage Sur Ronster organizes where they all ride like reckless and lawless thugs on the roads. They are the reasons big cities will start cracking down on e-bikes. This meetup was done right.

The food can be AMAZING (if you know where to go lol)! The variety of food is insane as well. Hahaha congrats to the whole crew and congrats on the Burn E2! You’re going to love the ride on that thing. Just make sure you adjust the suspension to the RiderGuide suggestions and have the proper stance on it when riding. It helps with the high speed stability when you set it up for speed and take an balanced stance. When do you get it ? I definitely will, y’all don’t do anything too crazy when the rides come in 😂

For NYC it’s a lot more condensed than Seattle and I live in the suburbs so I’ll have to put in in the back of my wife’s Cayenne. Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Henry! I was actually considering the Surron when I was in the market for the ebike. I ended up going super73 because I wanted a legit class 2/ class 3 ebike. I’m already having pev issues with my building and an electric dirt bike would probably cause bigger problems and it’d probably get banned. Also, I was worried with how NYPD and NYC would react to them in the long run. It looks like cities across the US are starting to crack down on them. I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on something and spending thousands more only to have it banned or impounded.

Hey... would you recommend this bike for someone in hilly areas. I really want it for its full suspension and relatively high speeds.
@eyebahnrides
@eyebahnrides Жыл бұрын
Hi Knighthawk Sam, thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! Hmm... it depends on how hilly. If it's really steep hills and you want to power through them at a blistering pace, no, I wouldn't recommend the S73. If you're more of a cruiser and you don't mind helping the bike along while pedaling and maintaining a chill pace, yes I would recommend it. My top speed on the Super73 RX is 31-33mph depending on how much stuff i have with me. When I'm tackling the hills and bridges in NYC, I'm doing about 20-25 mph. To put it into perspective, I can do 50+mph on my scooter on those same inclines. If you have a second, watch my Mods video I did for the RX. I modified it quite a bit to get it to the comfort level that I like. Most people don't do that but that's what I personally did. I appreciate you stopping by the channel. Im not sure how to even help when it comes to repairs since I can’t even fix my own rides lol. Maybe check out Inspire Cycle Bike shop or Powerful Lithium in jersey city. They might be able to help you

@@eyebahnrides yeah, exactly , thats why im looking for e-scooters , but its hard to find proper review , ppl just use them on straight roads ,where i live we have serious deep hills , even some cars struggle to clim it.. and until today 0 videos on that kinda of matther... so it becomes hard to make a good choice + the budget is very limited and that make things hard . For me what is importante : Price : 1000/1500€ Max Power ( +1000w Dual motors) build quality (suspension) range (baterie ) Speed : 40MPH should be enough I saw some Laotie ti30 that cust 1200€ - 5600w power 60VBatt but some ppl are complaining about the batery quality , some guy used it for 3 milles and stop working.. and that makes just every fucking thing harder. a vsett10+ is like 2500€ or 1800€ something like that. The burn-E is like 2700 . and afther saw your video , that you posted a few months ago , i put my eyes on it xD and than reality come and fucked me ahhahahahaha

@@PortugaRD ah that makes sense! Watch my latest group ride on the Nami Burn E that I released yesterday. That video has turns, steep hills, off roading, and highspeed runs! Even after 35+ miles of riding I still had 37% left at 71.9 v! That video will really have people thinking about it lol. I hear mixed opinions on Laotie even here in NYC. I would check out the Nami Klima if you have a chance. I have 2 videos on it if you want to learn more about it. The first video is a First Impressions and the second one is a 21 mile aggressive ride. That would be pretty close to your budget
