MY FIRST EVER HANDMADE SHOES BY YUKETEN | Wythe Canoe Mocs

Күн бұрынAs a menswear and mens fashion aficionado or connoisseur such as myself, you would think that while keeping up with menswear trends for 2024 and mens fashion trends for 2024 that I would also heavily immerse myself in the world of the shoe collector. Many would be very surprised to hear that I'm not really much of a shoe guy myself, though I do definitely classify myself as a mens fashion and menswear guy.
But recently, I found myself once again of the Wythe New York website, much as I do so quite often, and I stumbled upon this absolutely gorgeous pair of handmade shoes in collaboration with Yuketen. It seems that the Yuketen Canoe Moc is one of the most popular hand made shoe styles Yuketen has to offer, along with many other shoes, most of which I personally see aligning quite well with mens fashion trends for 2024 or the 2024 menswear trends.
I really love most of the stuff that Wythe does, and I tend to use them as a medium to help my personally challenge my own style of menswear and mens fashion, and when I saw these evergreen Yuketen Canoe Mocs, I immediately fell in love. These shoes are insane, and I can't express enough how rich the color is!
These Yuketen handmade shoes in collaboration with Wythe (Wythe New York) have became my favorite shoes these past few weeks. They literally just go so well with any type of denim, such as raw selvedge denim jeans, vintage fade denim, light wash denim, raw denim shirts or even gurkha trousers and tailoring as well as streetwear! So if you're into handmade menswear or handmade shoes, this video surely is a treat for you!

I love Yuketen because they have such eclectic collections form year to year. I have their moc bluchers with a rocking sole made by Vibram that over time has become just, if not more comfortable than my favorite sneakers. For suede I suggest using Saphir suede protector and for cleaning your side they have suede shampoo to mix with water that should clean up your suede very well.

Great video man. Can I ask about sizing in comparison to your sneaker size? I don't have any loafers. I'm a true 11 in Nikes, and an 11.5 in SB Dunks if that helps. TIA!

Tell me how I was looking at these shoes just a couple of days ago, and now you have a video about them😂 Btw I highly recommend getting a shoe horn, it will put less stress on your finger and heel of the shoe when putting them on.

@AlejandroJomar Since they're suede, probably not🤔 I love suede, don't get me wrong, but I don't want to worry about cleaning water stains. On that note, Saphur makes suede cleaner and an eraser just for water/other stains. I recommend trying it on your loafers

@therevan7288 they're not suede it's roughout leather, they're not as brushed down and heavily treated as suede

It’s not suede it’s flesh out. Much more robust leather. Yuketen primarily does flesh out rather than suede due to durability and of course heritage origin
