Just do up to 3 stops curbside! I had curbsides cancelled because the wait was over 30 minutes. You can cancel after 30 minutes of waiting. Walmart will give you decent base pay most of the time. Avoid shopping for clothes if you can. Also, know your zone.

When shopping uses the Aisle numbers A-Z 1-30, the Section number at the Walmart where I live they have the number on the shelves, then the Modular number should be where the tags are on the shelves with the price tag. It made it easier for me. Sometimes you'll still not find what you're looking for cause it's out of stock.

Hey Jo....good to see you finally got on Spark. That generated list order is definitely efficient. You'll notice it frequently sends you to the same aisle twice. This is because if there's 2 items on oppisite ends of that aisle, you can catch it on the return up the other main aisle; saving time and steps. Many complain about it listing perishables early in the shop, but if you follow the list it'll get you finished plenty early for it not to matter. Also remember that the *doomsday clock* for the cold chain is adjusted in the store due to air conditioning. The spark app IMO isn't near as sophisticated as Uber, but it DEFINITELY beats IC's interface hands down.

There are 4 types of offers: first come first served, asap, express and round robin. Only round robin counts towards acceptance metric. Don’t analyze offers too long just accept then cancel if you must Spark pays show up pay $2.85-$3.45 if you arrived and cancel.

We are currently having construction by our Walmart so I stopped until it's done(mid june-july) So I went back to Instacart

It was the water that is the heavy item.

Get the cold items last because those melt quite easily.

I think on those orders you accepted then it was gone, if you tap on the home tab I find that they show up in there. The Spark app is more glitchy than any of the others. I constantly have to close it and reopen. Good luck and thanks for the video!

With Shop/Delivers after a while you’ll learn each store. Shop each item how you would do it normally. Hit the back arrow in top left corner after you start the shop. Then you can manually scroll through the list and see each item and where it is. The app routing isn’t great. It’s good to use when there’s a bunch of similar items in a row so you don’t have to click as much to add each one manually. Also use the shelf/modular number. The shelf section label is on the top shelf and the modular number is the number on the price tag on the top right corner of the price tag. Each item on the app has it so you know exactly where to look when you get to the aisle. You’ll get faster at it. I feel like for you Walmart might actually be better than you think. They’re the ones that have the order volume right now especially because of inflation and the fact Walmart is a huge brand

I've learned not to get big shopping orders from Spark since I did one that I spent 3 hours on a single order. The order had 38 items, 58 units, and was on Sunday, the shelves were empty, couldn't find half of the things,I spent more time trying to find out substitution that the customer were ok with it, and at the end the @$%# removed the tip!😡 Spark is worse than Uber. That's why I barely do spark now.

Just grab it next time, maybe you can cancel afterwards if you dont like

yeah I've had ghost batches like that that you get the notification and sometimes the faintest outline of the batch will appear on the offer page but then it'll go away and it'll say that the orders no longer available and that is definitely a bot. The other day I was in the Costco parking lot in Sacramento and I got the notification that there was a $95 order and I tried to go back to the offer page and I could see the faintest outline of that order on the offer page and then it was gone. and that took like less than 3 seconds so in less than 3 seconds a bot stole a batch that was probably coming out to me because I'm diamond cart. so diamond Cart doesn't really matter that much when you've got a bunch of bots around and no matter how quick you are even if you got your finger on the accept button they will come and take it from you and all you can do is just hope that they get the orders they want and they go silent for a while so that the rest of us can have a shot.

Yea, IC, you go nuts. I really try, but it always takes forever. UE does give isles as well. Hopefully, I can get spark soon. Pretty much it's like life those of us busting our butt's off get the short end of the stick, but I will continue working and honest life. All those doing things the evil way will have their judgment day.

That's what kept happening to me on IC it's really difficult because you want to look at the mileage and get a peek at the map and see how many items and how many miles you have to drive and by the time you do all that the bots come and take your order and that sucks! I really really wish these companies would do something about these bots but there's a part of me that wonders if The company instituted those bots on their own to force people to compete and to do a lot more driving and whatnot. I know it's a theory but it's just hard to believe that any company would allow something like that and not try to stop it unless it's benefiting them or unless they control it.

You don’t have to follow the order the Spark app gives you. It’s trash and will have you going back and forth to the same aisle or area. With a small order it’s good to follow, but with big ones go your own.👊🏽🦖

You should do the Walmart in Kendall by the zoo if you can. Best Walmart in the city.

congratulations on your first spark order that looks really interesting. I'm from Northern California and right now because IC is so bad where I live I'm having to go more towards the San Francisco Napa area to get batches which is quite the drive but I made quite a bit today which is great because I have gotten hardly anything in the last week in my home zone. I did a Walmart order yesterday in Vacaville because Vacaville doesn't have spark so Instacart is allowed to shop there and it was crazy! your store looks so calm and nice. I'll probably do another Walmart over here in Vacaville before I go back home to Roseville/Sacramento area. keep up the good work you're an inspiration my whole family loves you and we just want to wish you the best and I know it's hard out here right now but hopefully things will pick up eventually.
