I just got mine Tuesday today is Thursday it is my first gun I tried to do my research and I really like this gun for some reason I try to go everyday or every other day to shoot mine and try to get used to it and learn it excellent video just like you just said I just want to learn from other people awesome gun I love the way it feels in my hand as well

Absolutely fantastic choice for a first gun. It covers all areas of use quite well, like if this was gunna be the one and only time you ever purchased a gun then it’s like one of the absolute best choices ever! Literally the only other handgun you’ll ever actually *”need”* to add to the collection would be a Glock 19 solely for having it handy in case of the end of the world type apocalypse situation, and mostly just because of mag and parts compatibility. Most gun owners generally have a Glock 19 so the most likely gun/parts you’ll scavenge out in the world will be (for) Glock 19s. It’s good to have just for that; even if you don’t like it/don’t like Glocks. But yeah dawg, SUPER dope ass gun, Sig can make you a fanboy really quick! Especially with the Macro 😁😁

Nice video! And, excellent choice for your first pistol. I’ve been carrying the compensated version since it first came out. The gun feels great in my hand and the fact that it’s capacity is 17+1 is just icing on the cake. I’ve got a Holosun 507k on mine, and I like the fact that it mounts directly to the slide without needing a mounting plate. I’m gonna go ahead and hit the subscribe button, because I’m interested to see how you get along with your new SIG. I hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

I really like what you said about wanting to learn the iron sights and getting practice with them before you move up to the red dot. I think a lot of new shooters make the mistake of thinking they need optics in order to be a good shot. Sometimes even passing on great guns cause they didn’t come with a cutout. I think it’s a bummer tbh, and maybe I’m a little old fashioned but I’ve always been big on my iron sights. Having the option to use optics should be a bonus, not a necessity… Too many self proclaimed “marksmen” out there relying on their optics for accuracy, instead of their skill through practice and experience. Glad to see you’re taking this new experience seriously, and would love to hear how you and your X Macro are doing after a few thousand rounds! 🤙

Good choice. FWIW, that's the TacOps Base model - un-comped, 3.7" barrel, no magwell, standard controls. As I understand it's a recent release - dropping after the original TacOps version.

Have the same gun basically but have a safety. I love it. Excellent choice! It’s your first gun and mine is my third but first sig! You couldn’t ask for a better first pistol. I came from two Taurus’s which were good pistols, but man this one is sweet. The capacity with the concealment is amazing. I will too be doing a Holosun eps carry for mine eventually. Gotta save up the money or ask the wifey as a gift lol

I juts bought the Sig 365 Tacops that came with 4 magazines. Sig also has a promotion ongoing now that they sen 3 additional mags.

I recommend the HandleItGrips Edge Series grip wrap if you ever feel like upgrading the grip texturing without buying a whole new grip module or paying for stippling. I just got an edge series wrap put on mine and it has made a world of difference for me. Enjoy the handgun and stay safe.

Maybe you didn’t mean it that way, but the back straps are not “extra”; they are different sizes to adjust the grip (slightly) for those who have different sized hands. Also, I am not an expert, but you are getting a lot of recommendations to put an optic and a light on this thing. Optics are personal preference, but if you use this as a carry gun, they do add weight and bulk - I don’t use them on mine. As for a light, can be great for a home defense gun, but if you carry it, be very, very careful what you use that light for. Pointing your weapon and using the light to identify a possible threat, and then finding out the threat is not really a threat - is a felony. That said, I love the 365 series. I have the 365 and 365xl, both with straight triggers. I bought a Macro grip module and a couple of 17 round mags, and can put my XL slide assembly, barrel, and FCU in the macro grip, and I then have a Macro for a fraction of the cost of a new gun. You could do the same in reverse, by purchasing a 365 or an XL grip module and a 12 or 10 round magazine. I also added a manual safety to mine since I use them for carry. Have fun!

The best advice I can personally give is train with your weapon systems as much as you can and be well proficient with the firearm you plan on carrying everyday!

I carry daily the comp version people don’t care to much about it until they shoot it. But I carry mines with the fulllsize eps and tlr7a
