My First Hard Rubbish Finds in Melbourne Australia

About 2 weeks ago I moved interstate from Sydney to Melbourne! It was hard navigating the streets to find hard rubbish so I was super excited to find this suburb full of trash. I have joined Facebook groups and searched local council websites to find hard rubbish days.

When hard rubbish comes out in Melbourne, I can’t stand the people who take bicycles for metal recycling when someone who needs it misses out!

First time watching , so if you cut wires I gather you scrap them so why aren't you looking for brass you picked up a piece and tossed it back and the wide electrical cable ?

Hi, Thanks so much for watching! I've never scrapped before, I tried collecting cords for a few a picks but I haven't cashed anything in yet. It wasn't my thing :)

I'm a long term picker/reseller, and really hate people selling mouldy clothes they pick from damp piles of rubbish. Don't get me wrong, although I don't sell clothes (not online at least), I have found some awesome stuff for myself, including a huge haul of tagged nike shirts, but the weather was good and they were picked from suitcases or sealed bags and in good condition. You do realise cats and dogs piss on those trash piles? Maybe think about that before picking stuff up out of the dirt
