I was meant to get this for 14 years but I only did it for 2 years I moved country and stopped all together. I was 8 when I started but now I’m 27 and it’s been years, sometimes I worry if one day I’ll die from heart problems since I didn’t get to finish my treatment.

Great job kid, you took that shot like a charm. To the nurse, reevaluate you techniques. The needle size you used was to long for her age. You let the needle dangle for a few seconds. Remember her muscle fibers are just developing. The patient did not complain. That's not an excuse for bad technique.

@@mavenclemen187 Even worse, unforgivable. Aspiration with 4 cc's of penicillin is NEEDED. BLOOD VESSEL INJECTION CAN BE FATAL OR CAUSE OBSTRUCTION OF ARTERY DISTALWARD. I AM SURPRISED A DOCTOR WOULD DO THIS.

They say that in the upper quadrant of the butt there are not manor blood vessels. Although is advisable to aspirate it is still not too critical. That is why they dont choose to do it

ahhh, yah. The tiny wound caused by that big syringe is quite deep and the doctor has to cover it properly. In some other case, it gets infected and resulting to an abscess.
