According to Finnish mythology, the world was born out of an egg. Henri is the bird, and he is also wearing boots inspired by Kalevala (the Finnish epic, where the egg also comes from). Back in those days, the boots would have been made out of birch bark, but here everything is made out of denim! Henri Piispanen is a vocal artist, and has worked on films like Paw Patrol. He is also a singer in a band. This was amazing to see live!

I love that laughter. Immediatedly you got it. That's what we need in the world right now, genuine joy and laughter. And yes, it's a denimegg = farkkumuna.

Qualified for the Eurovision Song Contest with public votes. Received last place from the international jury, but was voted first by the jury from the United Kingdom.

Let me open the staging, a little bit. Windows95man has worked with that name for 10 years, already, and the very short denim shorts are his trademark. So this is an imaginary tale, how he was born from a denim egg, laid by a denim bird (here played by his vocalist, Henri Piispanen, notice his jacket that looks a bit like the plumage of a bird). As a new-born W95m is naked, and doesn't know that he is supposed to wear trousers, so the cameramen and everybody on the stage do everything to block the view to his crotch. (Of course he isn't actually naked, he is wearing beige-coloured underwear.) Finally, he gets his famous magic shorts, and the party starts. This has also references to the Finnish national epic Kalevala, where the whole world and the universe was born from an egg. The denim boots that Henri wears, are covered with denim that is woven like the traditional Finnish footwear "virsut", which originally were made of birch bark. Then there is of course the message of the lyrics, that could be summarised "be what you are, and don't think about what other people say". So as you see, they have actually put quite a lot of thought to this performance. As a side plot the producer comes to show him the rules, which he throws away, because "No Rules". They have made also a video for this song, which is also fun, but tells quite a different story.

Teemu Keisteri is visual artist and DJ, and Windows95Man is his stage name when doing DJing. The other singer is Henri Piispanen: singer, songwriter and a voice actor. He has originally songwriter and producer on No Rules! and weren't supposed to perform. He agreed to record a demo for the song, but then they couldn't find anyone else who could match his vocal range so the demo turned into finished song.

It’s a fun entry with deeper meaning lyrics: Is there something wrong with the way I look? Is there something wrong with who I am? If I'm not alright, tell me why do I Feel so beautiful tonight? No rules! It's how I live How I find the wind beneath my wings, It's how I learn to fly! It’s an anthem for being who you are 🌈🎉🎊 And at the same time it’s a birth story based on Kalevala, the Finnish mythology🦅🥚 I like the message and also how it combines the Finnish mythodology Kalevala where the world is created from the goldeneye’s’ egg. In the stage performance the singer Henri represents the bird (see the similarity of the movements the clothing and Kalevala inspired boots) and the Windows95man is born (as all humans) naked. The stage coordinator tries in the middle of the song give the rules to our hero but he throws those in the air. He wants to be free and understand who he is despite what the others want him to be! He is looking for his jeans shorts and finally they descent from the heaven (mythodology) and our guy becomes Windows95man and starts the party with cheerful fireworks!💥 DJ Windows95man have been dj:ing now 11 years already and he is also a visual artist and using Windows95man outfit (denim shorts and windows95 t-shirt and cap) since over a decade. Henri Piispanen is professional singer and voice actor. Check out KZfaq for his bands “Pasa” and "Kontio Polar". The guys met while doing this project and liked each other’s and decided to participate in ESC. Henri doesn’t want to be named/featured in the title as he considers he is shy (like Chris Lowe in Pet Shop Boy) and this is the project of Windows95man.

I think it’s quite funny because Henri can actually sing, but I feel that Windows 95 man is just there for the show 😅

To me it's a concept of bending the Eurovision rules to the very end. He originally didn't want to have a shirt on so in the beige underpants he would have been "naked" in the limit of the rules but his wife said no so he now has a Windows 95 t-shirt. Then he uses the fireworks in a way that I think has never been seen or even thought in Eurovision and surely isn't the safest thing to do. Also the egg is very tall and rumors say it's too big for the rules of the stage in Malmö. All this fits the lyrics well and it also fits as a continuation of last years Finland's role in Eurovision so to me it's a good and kinda clever performance though I wouldn't mind if he used some pants😂 Also the song seems to be a bit on the limit like someone tried all he can to make a hyped hit song to the point that it gets funny and it only fits the whole thing very well. Who knows what they bring to the stage later though he talked about only small changes but wouldn't be so sure about that with this guy. They didn't expect to win this. Probably will not be any kind of jury favorite though thats maybe undeserved because Henri's vocals are good for the competition and probably even better afterwards and the song is catchy. Will need the televotes for a good score

This entry has many meanings. It is not random that the artist is Win'95, because Finland did win in '95 over Sweden. The win in 95 was huge, it was the first world championship in ice hockey, and it was in Sweden against Sweden. Last year the abba mafia proved that there are no rules. Finland won the popular vote by a landslide (most votes ever?), Sweden did not get 12p from any country, and yet the corrupt jury overturned the result just to achieve some trivial story arch of eurovision returning to sweden exactly 50 years after waterloo. Well, if that's how it's gonna be, then we will just shit on that water loo, because there are no rules. But remember the Win of '95! Because we beat Sweden.
