Hey! My name is Mariano, and this channel was created to share some poker sessions and travel.
In this episode, I travel to Austin, TX for my first ever livestream. The action was great, the rental car was too expensive, and Whataburger is still way behind In-n-Out.

Hat wasn’t a cooler. That was overplaying a low flush. Mind you, considering the tier of players, he likely thought they were bluffing a flush or playing a set.

@@MarianoPoker No, the dangers of playing low suited connectors. King, Queen, maybe even Jack.high would've been a cooler.

@@MarianoPoker it’s a bit of a cooler. I agree on that.But holding pretty much the bottom flush possible is a tough hand. All in you’re only beating sets. The rare two pair. And bluffs. The possibility of a higher flush is very real. I think the commenters even said your opponent in that spot stated he likes to watch your videos. I’ve watched almost all of them. We know you don’t like to fold. I suspect your opponent was playing on that. It sucks. It’s not easy to lay down. But it’s also not like you had the second nut flush. But then again. Your curiosity to often call in tough positions often catches out those bluffs. Eg the great 8-9 vs 3’s hand. It is profitable. Better phrased. As you’re a more aggressive caller, the 5-6 is a cooler. But for more knitty players, they lay that down, likewise though they have trouble playing 8-9 in that spot.

nice game! lol these guys w their sound effects. Love the rounders reference.. I remember around 2010 I was at AC playing at the taj (they had a big poker room with the dirtiest $1 chips you ever would see), some small NL game, and out of nowhere like every person at the table starts quoting Rounders, and that's when I realized all of our stories probably had some similarities. For me it was my friend and I watching that movie over and over, playing games w our friends and talking about being pros when we got older...

I enjoyed this video. I live about an hour from The Lodge and play there often. I lived in San Antonio for 20 years and I know Ceddie (Poker Traveler) very well. I have played with him many times and we have traded chips back and forth. He is a great guy and a good player. Congrats to you Mariano and your success.
