Thanks for sharing this one ive been with ya since the beggining and Murry.reminded me as a kid wanting to ice fish and I didnt have support ever until actually ,yes!!!! 1996 i just had been out of the military on active duty were i did 5 years and ya Pal um Great of You, for going and Blake and Your Story made thjs combat veteran in somalia tbat made it and 2 tours in Desert Shield /Storm.Really Powerful Stuff.Pal

Tournament fishing is something else! Like Blake said you could be 5 feet away from the winning bag, we got back to back 7th place finishes but we were a couple feet away from we’re the winning team was

I consider myself a pretty hard worker for my age, just like you were saying about Blake, and I agree with you that not many young anglers these days have grit like you were saying I started a lawnmowing business mowing and trimming and leaf, blowing all by myself when I was 12 and I was making 100 bucks a week which allowed me to buy a Corrado, DC a lot of ice fishing stuff and a really nice mountain bike. I’m always outside and would sit 12 hours on a frozen lake any day and I hope I don’t lose my work ethic and my passion for the outdoors

That ice fishing tournaments stuff looks pretty fun, but it kind of flies in the face of the now popular philosophy of letting the big panfish go. I wouldn’t be happy if a tournament like that, was happening on one of my local lakes.

GRIT!!! Nice work boys. There's something to be said about competitors and those that just show up. One guy that comes to mind is the MAYOR- Brooks Prochaska. One of the most competitive and confident people I know. These are the types of people that push you to become better at everything. Not just fishing, but life. Man so I… I know the feeling, those tourneys are hard. In western Montana we have a 3 lake circuit called the perch assault and it is a grind. It’s also very hard when the fishing ends in early afternoon, usually panfish pike is best in the evening. Good results nothing to hang your head about… tough sledding when you are fishing against other grinders lol. Tight lines sam
