Totally loved your reaction. My newest hobby is watching other people react to this video in particular, because it left ME absolutely speechless my first time hearing it. As you go forward you will find that Dan can sing absolutely any song and make it his own. Since you are from a southern state ( I Presume!), you might enjoy his cover of Elvis's American Trilogy. Even though Dan is from Brazil, his father was a huge Elvis fan. When his dad died in 2017, he did this in remembrance as a tribute to him. It is very moving.

Dan is the man!! Never have I heard a more beautiful and masterful performance of this old timeless hymn! And I grew up in church. My father was a Pastor (still is at age 78!) I'm a PK (Preacher's Kid) and have suggested this and heard it probably thousands of times throughout my lifetime. I've listened to Dan sing this about 50 times in the last two weeks. His incredible voice just kills this song. We, the people of earth, need this now. The timing couldn't have been better as we're in the battle of our lives. American patriots are rising to save our great country and take it back from the evil that has taken it over. Dan's choice of clothing for this video is just icing on the cake.

He’s got such a broad range and basically an altogether phenomenal voice. Magnificent control and vibrato. But honestly, if anyone with a voice sings this song with the respect and emotion it deserves, it’s gonna be close to impossible to not do it justice. Amazing Grace is such an emotional song.

I love how raw & delicate he started the song even with the slight echo & with each verse exposing more talent & intensity. Dan Vasc has a God given talent that he has worked long & hard to perfect it into what it is today. A fun fact re: that last note, Dan holds the note for approximately 24 seconds... This video was my introduction to his music and I've seen and heard everything I can get my hands on since it dropped around Good Friday, he is absolutely brilliant. Dan has been training that incredible instrument for the best part of his adult life. He has said that he doesn't believe in talent, he believes in skill,,, the dedication and discipline of this man is evident in the product he produces, be that his voice and music or the body he has been working on since he was 19 or 20... Yep, that’s Dan doing the singing. His KZfaq channel is chock full of rock/metal covers that are awesome. He does a lot of session work (other folks pay him to sing and write for their bands), and he’s also part of a band which I believe is called Fearless. He’s from Brazil and is genuinely a good dude despite the fact that he thinks man-buns are cool.

Dan has a video from 2010 with his audition for Manowar. It was at that time that he decided to get professional voice training to bring his good voice to perfection. Such a huge improvement over the years. So much power, control and range.

Have you ever listened to "Adeste fideles" by Dan Vasc? TOTAL MASTERPIECE. Greetings from Italy 🥰

He's all THAT & he's 🔥 HOT!!

He sings “The Sound of Silence “ also, and makes it his own! He’s my newest favorite performer, and this song started it for me, Dan has made over 250+ videos! He’s Brazilian and has more talent than anyone I’ve ever seen! He does have the lung capacity to hold out a note for 33-35 seconds, that’s mind-blowing, but that’s I’m beside the point. He’s also classically trained and sings opera, Christian music, holiday music, and he sings a good deal of 80’s hair bands’ music, folk music, almost everything, including a bit of rap, in Evanescence’s "Bring Me To Life ", and he must be trained as an actor, because I’ve seen some of his comedy song videos that were so side-splitting that idk how he could sing them without cracking up! He actually is extremely intelligent and is well versed in various languages, and has amazingly good English, but didn’t become such an athlete until after his time in the Brazilian military. He’s in a band called Fearless with his brother as one of the guitarists and his childhood friends, and their collaboration with Fabio Lione in “Dawn of Victory” has orchestral metal, which I’ve never heard before and is so hard rocking that I never heard anything so jammin’ with its double bass drums! He does so many tribute songs that are actually sung much better than the original artists! Amazing Grace was the first one of his that led me to listen to some of his others, and his vocal range is unimaginable! Try Handel’s Messiah and see his singing ALL of the vocal parts! There’s like a screen of dozens of Dans singing the parts which sound out of this world! His sense of humor is my favorite thing about him, and I enjoy some of his older videos, because he engages the audience (known as the Vasc Nation or the Vasc majority) and asks for song requests and shares his thoughts or experiences related to the video, and he’s just indescribably unique. He’s also sung the best Star Spangled Banner ever! I heard a reactor say “We have GOT to get him here to sing at the next Super Bowl!!" , which is the best idea ever!!

The funniest reaction video to this cover that I saw was two rap artists. After the song, they sat mouths agape, wordless, looking at each other. Then one said, "His hair is glorious.... I like his shirt..." The other said," ... he's got nice teeth..". And they kept staring at each other, waiting for the other to speak....😂
