Note: If you hit "Reset Lobby" after hosting a ranked lobby, it will change the starting resources to Standard. Hopefully they make this the default.

I am sure they will fix the ranked settings. You should be able to take the hotkeys from aoe 2 to aoe 1 but afterward, it shouldn't automatically change it in aoe 2 when you do changes in aoe 1 if you don't want it to change

3:20 when i go back to aoe2 my minimap, bottom left hud and resources dissappear. although its bc i self modded my files through manaually editting them. When i restart game its fine though.

town centers not shooting makes a lot of games end with quick rushes I imagine supposedly that's one of the things that the "d3" mod addresses - doesn't allow quick rush or something? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Played the skirmish mode, it has the aoe ii feel as well as the movements. Already finished the Trajan campaign.

I'm having trouble with the 2nd mission 😅 I guess "build only swordsman" is not a good strategy, too slow production for that? 🤔

@@edmis90 I just rushed with centurion, swordsman, and some stone throwers, cavalry can deal with the enemy archers and stone pults.

@@edmis90 Attack the left side until just before the last yellow base. Then ferry troops to the right side and push with ally.

I play the Trajan campaign... i don't understand why it isn't in AoE 2 !!! It's in another section whit AoE 1 buildings and technologies... i want play the roman campaign with legionaires and centuriones... and i can't !!! I'm not happy.

This is very good,see these gameplays while the community have a dissapoinment with the expansion.Why didn't the devs fix to AOE 1 DE? This is the quetion that wey are are asking ourselves.The saga is more than only AOE 2.

Thematicaly you dont receive a scout because game starts in stone age. You should scout with one vill at the start. This is how I used to play.

Good thing because aoe1 is outdated as hell. Not that RoR is that great either, both are bad since both are somewhat derived from AoE1.
