Wow, 6.5+ hours of running is such an amazing accomplishment. Congrats, Chad! Loved how much of the run you filmed, I've always been curious about what is like - it was cool to see that they really make it fun with character sitings, music/performers, and people to cheer you guys on. Also, that medal is such a cool reward at the end. I saw your mom's video this morning and while it was really great to see her in my feed again, I'm so sorry her return came with such sad news. I left her a very lengthy message, but just know that your family will be in my thoughts and prayers while she fights this! Your first return trip back together will probably be even more exciting than all your others because it'll be in celebration of her beating this and I'm looking forward to that trip for you!

I got a rare and aggressive renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) diagnosis on July 4, 2021. And I want to tell you to keep faith, stay encouraged, and trust the Lord, our Ultimate healer. I had a partial nephrectomy in Sept and I am still in recovery internally and he told me it would be another 6-9months, when I seen my oncologist Dec 23 he told me my latest scans came back clear so I am now in the remission process. And I know if the Lord can help me and perform a miracle in my life, He can do the same for your mom. He is Able and is still Healing and performing miracles. I will continue to keep her and your family in my prayers. ❤️🙏🥰

My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer on March 25th 2019 (my birthday, worst birthday gift EVER). It's been almost 3 years and he's still here fighting. I'm praying for Miss Leta and for you and the rest of your family. It's really hard to see a parent sick like that. I know I'm just a stranger on the internet but I've been watching you for many years and you have put a lot of smiles over the years. Sending you lots of love.

This was my first marathon, also! I wobbled over to Disney springs that night for dinner then wobbled around Hollywood Studios the next day. 🤣 I’m not sure why but I felt the pull to train for the marathon after finally starting my masters degree in my 40s after 20 years out from undergrad and now that I’m in my final semester any time I get overwhelmed wondering if I can actually finish, I look at those finisher ears and know that I can. I’m so sorry about your mom and sending lots of healing vibes up for her.
