Sure I have portfolios, and published works, like 2 children's books, 2 travel magazines designed, and decades worth of commissioned pieces under my hat. I have been inspired by so many talented artists here on KZfaq, I thought for my 50th birthday, it would be the perfect time to start a new sketchbook habit!

Loved this video! It’s so refreshing to see you use your sketchbook for practice and experimentation rather than focusing on perfection. I loved the idea of rendering black and white photos in color, I might just have to try it. I just got a new sketchbook and you inspired me to want to fill it. Thanks!

What a great sketchbook tour. It was a lovely glimpse into your thought processes behind them, and what beautiful artwork. It was good to see the 'workings out'. I also really appreciated the editing of it. I liked and subscribed before the video ended. Thank you for sharing.

Great video, just discovered your channel! Love your artwork. I was born in 1983 - 80's girl here too. Thos multicolour pens took be back, I had a small collection of those and it also reminded me of those stamping markers and the markers that had different nibs you could make 3 lines etc. May have been crayola brand. I was definately a stationery addict and still have a love of it and art and craft supplies

I love that you shared this with me! Those pens right?! They are amazing retro relics, and they made their way back for us to enjoy and the younger generation to discover! Those stamping markers!!!!!!!!!! YES!!! I do remember those as well!!! Ohh, I need to find those!! AND< those notched out nib markers!!! How could I forget those?! Thank you for jogging my memory!! I think you are absolutely right that they just may have been Crayola! 2 & 3 line markers! I remember writing my name over and over like I was writing in fancy calligraphy! ha ha ha! Oh boy those were the BEST!! I need to see if they still make them! I appreciate your comment! I LOVE that you shared this with me! I am so happy you appreciate stationary and the 80's RETRO love with me! Hello :) I just discovered your channel today, than you so much for this genuine sketchbook tour :) I loved watching your thought process about colors and media, side by side with lovely pieces of artwork. Thank you so much for sharing :) - I am a hobbyist, but I have so so so many sketchbooks - most of them unfinished but that is fine. I find sketchbooks less intimidating than a large piece of paper or canvas :) 80s kid here too! I so remember these multi-colored pens too :D
