I never played these type of games, but I always found them to be cool. This look awesome and you did very well....are you sure your not a pilot mate 😊😊 you even got the voice of a captain pilot great stuff mate 😊😊

🤣 the game has this feature that allows you to project real world maps on to the terrain below to make it look realistic. Once I've got more experience I'm going to fly over Montreal and try and find your house!!!

You did well, really well for a first time, either there is a ton of assistance going on with an Xbox controller or someone's telling porkies 😉Nice controlled descent by reducing throttle. To improve performance there are some frame generation hacks for non 40 series cards like dlssg to fsr3. I use the universal version with my RTX 3070 it's just two dlls in FS2020 content folder. Makes a massive improvement in frame rate but there are some visual aberrations - worth it for me.

Thanks dude! There might be assistance on, I'm not 100% sure. I'll check today!! I spent hours in the flight school section trying to get A grades. The lesson about the trim wheel wheel was by far the most difficult, spent ages retrying it. Do you use a flight stick and additional gear to play. I bet it's more immersive and better handling. I haven't tried using frame gen. My experience with it on my card has always been a bit hit and miss with DLSS. Probably not suited for my laptop GPU, but I'll try your advice.

@@RetroCrisis I do use a flight stick, it has better handling thanks to a much longer throw than a thumbstick. What's odd is that 20 years ago we could buy force feedback flightsticks but todays sticks don't feature it, but game controllers do so on the immersion front it's mixed.

@@BALLOOROOM ah that's so cool!. Which flight stick do you have? Also curious which flight instruments can you control from your flight stick? Do you have the thrusts and rudders and everything?

@@RetroCrisis It's a Turtle Beach Velocity One Flightstick. It has hall effect sensors, twist rudder, two axis levers I use for throttle and flaps, and a trim wheel. It was recently on sale for £79. Flight instruments interaction is limited on a simple flight stick as most controls are dedicated to controlling surfaces. The cheapest option is to just use a mouse or at the other extreme is to build a cockpit. An extra controller with rotaries and buttons is normally the next step. Winwing has just entered the market with its affordable FCU flight control unit for the A320. My brother loves playing this says it's very relaxing, I'm not sure if I could play It Without Putting on a very offensive and stereotypical Arab accent Is whilst trying to crash the plane into buildings 😂😂😂 Sorry dark sense of humour , Have fun with it mate and a wonderful weekend
