(*TURN ON SUBTITLES*) My Swedish followers have been requesting a Swedish vlog, so this week's video is in Swedish! Follow me around a completely normal day in my life - from home to work, getting a spraytan and trying on the dresses with our flower girls. I also reveal what song we will have for the first dance at the wedding.... :-)

I don't speak Swedish (I'd love to) but I actually like when people make vlogs speaking their native language, even though most of us viewers don't understand it and have to read subtitles, so I really liked this one. Like you said, it feels more natural to you and your friends, and that's kind of important and the point of vlogs, that you feel natural and show how you really are on a normal day. Keep those Swedish vlogs coming if you want to, I'll be here to watch them :) XO from Málaga, Spain.

Yeeah and also her personality shines through more when she speaks Swedish! I don't know if that's something you notice, as a non native... Or do you? :) Do you feel like something is different about her?

Yes, of course, we can speak as many languages as we want and we can do it with the best accent ever sounding like we are native, but nothing compared to how we speak our native language, I don't know how to explain it, but there's a kind of spontaneity and energy that we only have when we speak or native language, I don't know if you know waht I mean, it's difficult to explain haha.

I actually prefer the vlogs in swedish, even though I am dutch and do not understand. You look way more natural and it looks like you have way more fun! Love it!

In high school I had a Swedish exchange student who soon became one of my best friends we got so close and I fell in love with the Swedish culture and language. I used to listen to her talk to her family/friends and I wanted to learn it so bad! I only know two words, puss puss and kärlek 😂 love these Swedish vlogs brings back memories hopefully you make more 😘💕

I find it fascinating that when you speak Swedish your approach and body language changes compared to when you speak English, so adorable. I wonder if I do the same thing when I speak the 3 languages I know.

Even though it was in Swedish I did really enjoy this vlog like all your other vlogs. Didn't mind the subtitles, I always watch tv shows with subtitles so I'm use to it. And it's funny to hear that some words in Swedish sound exactly like some dutch words haha. I'm from The Netherlands. Also the part where Aleks wakes you, I'm so sorry but I laughed. Your face was so funny, you were so shocked and still sleepy. Yours and Aleks first dance is gonna be beautiful with Ed Sheeran's song. Have a great week, if your reading this! X

i had to watch it twice. because i end up staring at your face and not reading the subtitles so i have no idea what youre saying 😂 the thing i liked the best is how dogs are alowed at the office!! and was no big deal that the puppy wasnt still trained to hold the pee and you didnt get angry at her! loved this vlog

I loved watching this with subtitles! Ofc it might be hard for some people who are not used to subtitles, but in finland subtitles are very normal on everyday-tv, so this was fun! And even though I don't understand your language, i felt like it's so much easier for you to be funny in swedish. I mean of course it's hard sometimes to joke in another language. This was super! I laughed so hard when aleks woke you up hahahah 😂

anna yeah we know that people assume that, but it's not THAT common in finland to talk or understand the swedish language.😄 Older people often talk swedish, but usually under 40 year olds - not so much. It used to be taught in schools a LOT but not anymore. And I only understand some of it because I speak german and they are very similar

everyone i know can say at least something in swedish and understands the basics. dont know where youve studied but ive learned a lot swedish in school, the problem nowadays is mostly with the kids attitude of not wanting to learn. but german does help with swedish, i started studying german before swedish and it helped a bit

anna yeah it certainly does help! And I never said I didn't understand anything, i said "i don't understand your language" because i understood only like 20% of what she was saying . Ofc everyone knows the basics, but watching this kind of a video where someone talks really fast and jokes around, of course it's different compared to the swedish we've learned in school from books and therefore harder to understand 😂

I'm an African American fan of your's since 2010 and I really love seeing you speak in your native language. I've been watching television and movies with subtitles since I was a kid so it's not much of a bother for me. Anyway you're 😊
