Mnk is more fun than roller IMO, but it's hard to keep up with aim assist lol.. once you get the right keybinds and learn to tap strafe and some more advanced movement its a blast

you know it! being in control over all micro adjustments yourself is way more satisfying. playing with aim assist robs you of that experience. and learning advanced movement tech makes you feel proud in a way only real sports can make you feel.

Keybinds are personal. I honestly don't like LShift for Crouch, so I changed to LAlt. Other than that, for Jump use W and Wheel Down, and for Moving Forward use W and Wheel Up, Melee on Mouse 4 and Holster Weapons on Mouse 5. Also, I recommend to not Cycle Weapons with your scroll wheel - just delete it.

11:20 Safe to say you don’t have much experience with Crypto since you didn’t realise you were hit with the ult and scanned. 😂 it’s evident that you’re still learning. Great video though. Btw I miss solos too bro🥲

in pubs it really doesn't matter what you do if people get mad there they have some type of anger issue most of the time, ranked is a bit different but as long as you are playing in bronze it also doesn't really matter how good you are on mnk or roller your teammate won't hate you since they aren't really better so they might even think the same things you are thinking.

Hard to say keybinds;) Everyone has what they like but most MNK uses scroll wheel as scroll up=W and down=jump or other way for tap strafe, for me it also makes super zip easier than with space:P

Keybinds are really personal preference but the default sens is WAY too high on mnk. Default is like 5.0. I play 800 dpi 1.0 sens but I think the most common sens is like 800 dpi 1.3-1.5

800 dpi 1.8 sens here. I always struggled a bit to find the best sens for me. I checked and looks like between 1.5 - 1.8 sens 800 dpi is the most common.

@@officialTresdots thats true - but consider: commonly people have too small mousepads, too heavy mice and are stuck somewhere between gold and diamond... :) on lower sens its generally easier to aim - so you probably have benefits if you rather go slightly lower than pros (as long as you have enough space and long enough arms^^)

@@MikeGrau0hr True. I currently use a small mousepad but I have a medium one. Tbh I have a felt mousepad and a small one above it. But I am going to change to my medium one. I use that sens because I really do not like to crack my wrist with a lot of movement with a lower sens. I understand that you can be more precise and, maybe, when I change my mousepad I can lower the sens a bit more. we will see

@AVDtheGoat hmu for FREE tips if you want to continue this :) tapstrafing takes 5-30mins in firing range to understand and be able to do. i can provide competitive settings (with and without explanation) and show a few good things how to practice efficiently. not trying to sell anything - just love to share whats so much fun for me

I've played so many hours and still haven't learned movement correctly lol. I main Revenant (just because a friend told me to, because I find it very difficult - at least for me - to understand my playstyle or to figure out what my playstyle is - if it's suitable for Rev or any other) and some movement doesn't work well with Rev. But I promised myself to start learning cause I really love some of the tricks, specially Wall Jumps. Watching Faide playing truly inspires.

@@officialTresdots revenant is a good pic :) but dont let your friend tell you what to play - just go for what looks fun for you! if you dont have 10k hours playing yet you probably wont know "your play style" yet - figuring that out is part of the process getting to know the game :) just a heads up: walljumps work slightly differently with revenant - you dont get the same height after the jump as with the other legends.

@@MikeGrau0hr Yeah, I know. The thing is, I like a tactical like Rev, Loba, Wraith, Octane, Pathfinder. I mean, a movement tactical. What I struggle with Rev is the Ult because when I use my Ult and the enemy crack my Ult shield, I do not really cover myself and wait a few seconds for it to regenerate and come back to the fight. What I like about Rev is also the passive. I can walk through walls like if I was the spiderman. I can flank enemies easily. I can do a bunch of stuff. The thing is I currently almost have 1k hours. Started like 2 months ago (?) and realized that because of only playing Rev I do some dumb decisions because sometimes I forget either my mates dont have the same movement I do or I rush like an idiot and i get knocked down. So I thought to myself to main a legend that has no movement when learn how to cover better and how to position myself better, and so on. So I can back to Rev and be better and start thinking about my Ult mistakes. Rn I have like 120 wins on Rev, max kills was 17 (which I killed at least 3 entire teams in one match which gave me the badge) and I have like the final Assassins Badge. All with Rev. I believe for some it's nothing but I am really proud of those badges

@@officialTresdots i like the way youre thinking :) im also a movement fan - and it was very healthy for me personally to play legends without get-out-of-jail-card.^^ its good that youre aware of mistakes youre making! dont overthink the legend choice tho :) since youre talking about team awareness: are you usually playing with randoms, with a bunch of different friends or with always the same people? verbally communicating and correct use of the ping system can also help with coordination and not ending up alone. also another tip: i can recommend either going for results OR training; since going for good results may include not taking some fights - but the best practice is taking every fight. and since youre just starting out id just go for the best training/practice - which means you should not care about your results/stats since going for every fight will have a negative impact on them. btw "taking every fight" doesnt mean brainless straight on from the worst position!

@@MikeGrau0hr I usually play with randoms. I used to play only pubs but decided to play a bit of ranked here and there. Every single game with randoms. Yeah, I started to go for results only and maybe it's a mistake, I can understand and I admit it. I did it mostly to prove to my friend that I can do it. He always said it would take ages and it was so hard to do. I tried to prove him wrong. I got the 2.5k damage badge so quick compared to him. And he plays for years. I honestly wanted to get my 20 bomb and 4k damage badge. I know I have a lot to learn and practice. I liked to learn more about wall bounces and some other movement tricks but sometimes I don't have the patience or motivation to learn it lol. Btw, earlier, what I meant about not knowing about my playstyle I mean in every shooting game xD. My friend says now that maybe my playstyle and best legend to use is Conduit because, according to him, I lag behind a lot. however he thinks Octane is probably better for what I am going for. I mean idk.

The mouse sens looks too high. For normal humans 800 dpi and something between 1.2 and 1.8 is the way. For keybinds: mousewheel up to w and down to jump.. gor tapstrafe and all the movement stuff
