Only a short chilled ride for today’s video. Managed to get a few POV clips from the short ride. Still getting used to the feel of the bike and hub. Hope you lot enjoy the video.

good footage mate, you really have skills on it, I myself been thinking also on getting a freecoaster but don't know I will get used to it, I have tried some friends bikes and it feels sketchy

Thank you. Definitely feels abit weird at first but after a couple session with a freecoaster it’ll feel normal and you get used to it.

i am asking pre mature only cause i bought a free coaster today and need to spin the peddle 1/3 the way every time to get it to engage, i bought a higher end kink from the factory with a mission pace freecaoster, is 1/3 normal amount of slack. my friend engages in about 1/8 a turn. i am curious about how much slack you have on your bike, so mine if my peddles are at 9 and 3, the 3 side dont engage till its about 7o'clock. im using a clock as the position of peddles. that seems how the shop was explaining it. well any help be great on idea of slack, and great vids

When I first got my freecoaster I found that it was actually too little slack as it would engage on fakies very often. My coaster now engages at 1/8 of a crank between 7 and 8 if I start with my pedals at 9 and 3. One video that helped me understand Freecoasters better was Alfredo Mancuso video. @@SamuelBulmer yeah 1/8 a crank be good, im a hole 1/3 a crank. thanks for the reply and info!!!! mine is adjustable i found out and its on the most slack there are like 5 more adjustments. add washers. i talked to the bike company and they are sending me washers that should have came with the bike. with as much slack as i was having had my foot tossed to the ground and one savage slam from it. again thanks!!!

I just watched the vid and same one i watched last night. You know what no one shows is the bike together and the examples of engagement. that gives so much info but there are like no vids out there. there are but there not specific. like a few weeks ago i watched a Cranmer vid and in the middle they compared slack. i tried to find the vid but he makes so many its hard to find cause its not titled as soo. thanks again man!!!!

just got a freecoaster today, how long it take you to adjust to the slack? gunna take my bike into a place to get the slack reduced abit but it feels very weird right now lol

It felt very weird for me at the start too, but you get used to it. Took me a couple sessions to feel pretty comfortable with the slack.

@@SamuelBulmer yeah been getting on well with it. I didn't realise mine I could adjust the slack on mine externally which helped alot lol
