Zion the same happened to me. I was told I should not have gone through Heathrow Airport but rather go through Bristol Airport after buying my ticket. On my flight, I was memorising the address, date of birth and telephone number of the person I was going to. I was so scared and shaking when I got to the immigration border😅. I got there all the man said was “Welcome to Uk 🇬🇧, I can see you have come to settle, enjoy your settlement”. He took my fingerprint and that was all. I got confused and thought there was a second immigration border ahead of me. When I came out of the airport and I was telling my family they were surprised. For me, I think they read your demeanour, I gathered some confidence when I got there and was ready for anything, within me, I was boiling 😂.

I transited in Heathrow to the US my second time n one officer ask me " do you work? why did you go on vacation for three months" I said yes I work n I went on vacation to visit family. He then asked again " where is your work ID? I quickly said to him " who travels with job ID if the travel is not job related purpose" then he gave me my passport. Sometimes they just want to secure u.

A friend entered London few days he was arrest again and kicked out . After he pass the boarder they conducted a background check and found out some fishy stuffs . So UK boarder is very skeptical
