I always chuckle at the “ is this real” comments in reactions!! I accidentally clicked on Rise Up wishbus by Morissette! I said what the heck let’s hear it and that was 3 years ago. I could not imagine someone could sound like Morissette and I had never heard of her??? I absolutely questioned it’s authenticity and like we all do found out her voice is ACTUALLY REAL! I though to myself how on earth is she unknown to the world and to be honest I am still asking that question today. Her vocal range and dynamic control are still to this day beyond my comprehension and in my opinion she is on the level of the Whitney’s and Celine’s and Aretha’s. This voice should be known by all who love powerful , moving , transcendent voices. The most impressive thing about her is her versatility and consistency! She is equally fantastic singing pop, broadway, classical, rock , country , jazz , is does not matter because she makes every song her own and sings it like it might be the last song she ever sings. She is a true gift so you should feel fortunate that you have discovered her in a time where actually singing ability is no longer valued like it once was.

Hi Sarah 😊 This was a fascinating and lovely performance, my first experience of Morissette, and I was highly impressed! I was intrigued enough to read about her background and career, discovering that much of her early career evolved in her Philippines homeland. She has a wonderful theatrical voice, so suitable to musical theater, which, as a rule, I usually don't enjoy. But this young lady brings a sincerity or honesty in her vocals that I find lacking among the famous American divas. I wonder if she would be embraced by the American music industry? I have my doubts, the American taste for sensual choreography doesn't seem a match for her talent. As always, my appreciation for your wonderful reaction, it made a too quiet night far nicer. 😇🌹🕊️🙂
