There’s something special here .. In the performance you can hear Freddie quip “they don’t know it” followed by a reassuring Brian “that’s alright”. Welp, Freddie was used to the audience singing the majority of the song but in this case he thought they didn’t know it! Yayyyyy! An uninterrupted performance by Freddie & Brian’s 12-string!! 💝 Just Lovely 💐

Freddie was a very special and mercurial talent. He and Queen have given the world such a magical musical journey and there are days that I wish Freddie was still right here on Earth with us. But I guess the angels just wanted to listen to him sing too. God bless Freddie!

This songs never fails to make me melancholic as I hear Freddie sing "when I grow older". I had the privilege to be at one of Queen+Adam Lambert shows this year here in Italy, only Brian can give this song justice. You have to hear his version. As I was there in front of them, I promised myself not to waste time making videos or taking pics to enjoy every beat but as sono as Brian started singing this song I recorded the whole performance and it will always be one of my sweetest memory ever

You would have loved the old days , in was lucky I had 2 Older sister's we would in the old days drive from Ottawa to Montreal to Toronto and the Ottawa ex was big for 11 days in August , seen queen live , deep purple who the guess who rush glass spider David Bowie , Whitney Houston, Cindy Looper, village people , seen doubling pianos elton , Cher , sara brightman , meat loaf , TSO pink Floyd, Prince , totto , banana Ramia , the jets , grand master flash and the 5 , Kim Mitchell, Wilson Phillips, M j , no lip singing , and so many more greats

Definitely watch this live in Rio! The audience participation almost brought Freddie to tears apparently. The trouble with Montreal is that the audience were told to restrain themselves which annoyed the band somewhat!

this aiways makes my heart hurt and tear up now he's gone! the performance of this song at wembly 1986 has fab audiance singing. try queen-brian may love of my life video birmingham.this was done yrs after freddie had passed.brian sits on the stage by himself while the band take a rest and freddie joins him on the screen.it's very emotional.

You've done so many songs now from Montreal, you may as well listen to the entire concert. I know i'm a week too late for this suggestion, but they did a concert at hammersmith-odean on boxing day 1979. (Brian May even included Silent Night in his instrumental) If you check that out in your own time, you'll get a great sense of the atmosphere.

I remember you watching the same song from Wembley 86 every concert was very different, and they love the audience joining in, one reason Dr Brian May wrote We Will Rock You, and they involved the fans in their music videos, you can listen to this concert, which they didn't particularly enjoy because the venue management and others wouldn't let the audience join in as much, told not too move around too much, but both Roger Taylor and Brian May take you through the concert, they're narrating throughout, enjoy

@@DoIttMiaaaa it's nice watching the much younger people enjoying what we grew up with, I'm old enough to remember when the group started. They could have two concerts in two days at the same place, but the show would be slightly different, Somebody To Love sounds completely different at Milton Keynes ( pronounced Keens) just a year after these concerts, likewise say Fat Bottom Girl another song by Brian, would sound different from concert to concert, they have always said it's not about the money, it's about making the music, how many groups would invite the fans to take part in the music videos right from the beginning, I can think of a few older groups and individuals, or at present they've just released the new version of The Miracle Album 1988/89 but they've also put the entire album on their KZfaq Channel some 47 tracks I think. You should look at some of the Official documentaries about the group, Fred didn't like doing many interviews, he knew it came with the job that's his words, but would rather have just thrown himself into the studio, BTW he still sends Christmas Presents, it was something within his Will which Mary Austin takes care of

Freddie must have not been able to hear the crowd from the stage because he said to Brian "They don't know it." Brian replied "That's okay." and they kept on with the song. I could hear the crowd singing from the beginning on the recording. Consequently, Freddie didn't turn the song over to the crowd as he usually did, he and Brian just did the song, themselves.
