So hard mode adds more champion enemies and they do one whole heart of damage instead of the normal half normally you wouldn’t want to play it in the beginning of your file but when you get more experience it will be easier

The only thing hard mode does is more champion enemies ( the different colored ones that deal more damage) and less consumables like coins and bombs. Also that blue rock with an X on it at 4:17 is a tinted rock, if you blow those up you'll usually get soul hearts (the blue ones) and sometimes a golden chest or an item. Soul hearts are temporary hearts that protect your red ones which is good because a few things become less likely to happen if you take red hearts damage

Playing hard mode is very much always worth it cuz I think it only effects the quality of items you get and maybe pickups, but yeah ur gonna have to do hardmode later to get the completion marks. Also at the end you got a mysterious liquid (the green goblin goo) and yeah its a good item cuz I think poison does like 2.5x? your base damage

greed mode is a wave base gamemode is good to do with azazel cause is unlock a kinda strong character the greed mode work as every wave you complete you get some coin that you can buy things in the shop, the one make you larger pill as sayed make you larger but don't affect your hitbox using 3 of this pill give you the stompy transformation that make so you can destroy rocks when you walk into them, when you play azazel sometime you can active the chargebar so you can see when azazel atack is charged and found hud to see your status.

look for rocks with an x on earliest floors the rocks might have a diffrent color on later floors they wont also they give u stuff like keys those blue hearts etc and dark bum takes red hearts and gives back stuff money keys and black hearts
