Imagine a mimic mimicking a deogen then mid hunt, it switches to a revennant

My first game I had a Deogen on Edgefield Professional. The ghost went from the second floor to the basement within 5 seconds and killed me through a wall. I've never been more scared in my life.

I found it interesting, the Thaye's footsteps were also perfectly rhythmic like actually walking slow. Every other ghost has had a more random footstep pattern.

i have found that the thaye usually only hunts below 15% sanity in shade mode, we were waiting ages for it to hunt, ended up having a dance party in the house (glowsticks and everything) edit: wow 219 likes!??!

I wonder if a thaye ages with time if when u ask a board “how old are you” different times it will age with the board?

You know Insym, you got me thinking. This is the only intended small window of opportunity in Phasmophobia (bugs don't count) where there is content that only will exist for a short period of time. What content? These three new ghosts on the OG Asylum. Once it's gone, it's gone, and it will never be coming back. Better find them while you can.

Learned the hard way the thaye can hunt at 100% sanity... did that right after i dropped my flashlight and went to the front door to get more stuff

Love how the first was Rev. Just reveals like "hello ther." U'll love the Thaye and Moroi. Both are fun.

Wait until Insym realizes that the Mimic should be able to mimic the new ghosts...so suddenly, a mimic may go to your hiding spot when you thought you were safe!

you HAVE to see Thaye hunting in its' Oni form... It's much faster than any other ghost i've encountered.

It would be great that we get a Deogen in Asylum just to hear it sprinting like a madmen only to go to a crawl as they meet the player.

I remember leaving for lunch during this part of the stream, and I come back food in hand and freaked out you got the Thaye. It was such a blast being in chat for a patch day. Thanks Insym for these games. They’re always a blast to watch!

The Deogen seems to change its favorite room after every hunt to be closer to where 1 of the players was at durring the last hunt (or perhaps it was a fluke for the 1 I just had). You can outrun them during a hunt easy enough and seeing a player does not seem to speed the ghost up that I noticed. It does always know where you are regardless if they are hunting or not (so hiding is not useful). Not sure about any of the other ghosts tho since only gotten that 1 so far.

My friends and I got a Moroi and we have a few theories on what the special ability is. We noticed that when cursed with the lights on, it slowed the curse down. Candles had little effect on the curse. As well as, it seemed like it knew where the cursed person was hiding so our other theory is that it knows where the cursed person is during hunts. More testing will need to be done, but those are our theories for now. Can't wait to see what you get!

Earlier today I was playing with my friends on asylum and the ghost ended up being a deogen, we ran around the whole map while it hunted us and whenever we went by our equipment it got FASTER like a Raiju or Revanant, it was so scary when you turned around and it sped up 😭

Idk if someone mentioned this yet, but when my group went up against a moroi, all but one died. Supposedly, the ghost got increasingly faster per death. Im saying this because it's something that could only be tested in a team setting

I had Moroi in one of the first games yesterday, when our team was at 0% sanity he was almost as fast as rev plus he was draining sanity soo much. These new ghost will be very interesting to discover their abilities.

I love the thaye so much. It’s such a fun ghost watching it fly around the screen within the dots. Potential candidate for top 5 imo

I love the new ghosts in their own different ways. They offer different challenges and fun at the same time. I'm sure Sym is going to get up to some shenanigans with all of them.☺

i dont know much about the game but i would love to see a ghost with the same attributes as a weeping angel (once it starts a hunt you have to stare at it to keep it in place but if you lose sight of it, it teleports closer to you or even behind you.)

wow, last time I was able to play this game there were only like 10 ghosts, my computer died and its been a struggle to get a new one. I can't wait to play again.

After half an hour the ghost just walks out the front door and gives nothing anymore 😂

In the next major update CJ should add a rubbing sort of sound effect for the crawling ghost model cos it doesn’t make sense that footsteps are heard when fabric is dragging on the ground. It wouldn’t give away the ghost type but it just makes sense for the specific model

If my hypothesis is correct, what is scary is in nightmare mode, if you get Dots and Writing as the evidence and its either a Thaye or Deogen, if its late in the game, it will be extremely difficult to figure out what the ghost is unless you maybe go off of amount of interactions and hunt. Or you confirm using whatever ability the Deogen has

The Moroi is actually a Romanian ghost and in folklore are undead Vampires. There is also the Strigoi which is a person infected by vampirism while they are still alive so it makes sense they aren't in Phasmo.

Insym! Maybe you have a reason for it, but you have your microphone in-game set to Broadcast Stream Mix. The bloopidy bloop is probably the sound from the game. Try setting it to Chat Mic.

The new truck makes reminds me of what l thought the first time l saw the old model: "How the hell does anything stay in its place while the truck is moving?"

my first game today was a deogen. i think i might’ve found a fun little quirk for it. it might have a change to obnoxiously loudly breathe through the spirit box. i got it myself, i dont know if that’s the special ability or not though

I had a Moroi in one of my games. When at 0 sanity, it was DEFINITELY fast, but it didn't sound Raiju fast.

Have you tried the Para-mic on the new Ghosts? You got that really cool breathing sound while talking on the EVP. Perhaps one of them has a special sound through it. I'm guessing the Deogen might, it could be used to quickly find out what it is so you don't die when you hide.

I'm happy with the fact I can finally use the spirit box etc. now, because I'm on linux and had to let my friends do those bits until now.

i learned from Thaye that it's super active at first (dots, doors closing or opening, moving stuff around) super quick ghost writing too.

12:00 I had a game with my friend like a week ago where we played on nightmare and the ghost did an airball event. We said okay, not an Oni. When we closed out every ghost we went to the truck. In the screen it said it was indeed an Oni. So we got bamboozled by that bug. :c

We used to have 4 cameras Insym, they removed it about 18 months ago. Ol' gang will remember this :)

Map ideas Ghost ideas Maps Boat: either cruise ship or an abandoned boat on land Starcourt mall x stranger things cameo: probably never happens but that will be cool Ghost: Flying Dutchman or just the Dutchman: can be found on all maps. Deamongorgon: in stranger things, the monster itself is not consider a ghost. But, in the show… entities can be found doing ghostly things in the upside down. It could be a possibility.

Imagine the mimic being a deogen first and you thinking it’s a baby loopable ghost for the first hunt. Then before the 2nd hunt, it changes to a rev and you just get obliterated

I would like to see truck upgrades unlocked with your money. Maybe upgrades to the TV or equipment rewarding players for being good ghost hunters. This game keeps getting better and better though, KEEP IT UP DEVS

Epic theory time!!!! Ok the blood on the wheels is actually blood. The first clue to point towards that you the player are actually a serial killer. You killed countless people across the country and now are going back to the places of which you killed to make contact with your victims to re-live the crime :)

the truck cameras need to be able to cycle backwards as well as forwards, we need custom item loadouts(like having one for single player and a different one for multiplayer) and pleeeeeaaaase allow us to pick which photos we want to count towards the points. like... if we get 15 photos possible, we should basically get 5 redos if that makes sense. that would be some great qol next

We got Tarot cards and Thaye and got it to hunt within the first 2 minutes of the game. It was so fast, we literally screamed trying to get into our hiding spots

me and a friend of mine play Phasmo last night to check out the update. And we have a theory for one of the new ghost (the Thaye), and the theory is that it has the ability for the ghost orbs to disappear, so orbs will only be seen for a short amount of time in early game. We aren't 100% sure about it, but we would love to hear if people notice this too! (Hope you see this Insym

Moroi early hunt’s from what I can tell. Not very early, but like below 65. The lower your sanity the more often it hunts.

The van is no longer a van.... IT'S A MINI GARAGE WORKSHOP!! It also has ceiling tiles lol.

It should be the absolute reverse of a Shade and have a crazy high hunting at high sanity and the rate of hunts drop as sanity drops which would be insane and could confuse it with a demon and early hunting

Hypothesis: one of the new ghost has a chance to make a special drawing in the book

Something I learned about the Deogen is that if you use up all of your sprinting stamina then it will become extremely fast, I played a few matches with my friends and got a Deogen twice and both of the times once one of us used up all of our stamina it would sprint after us then kill us.

Deogen: you can run, but you can't hide. Me, the fastest Alt-F4 in the Wild Wild West: shame

We survived our first De Ogen in Ridgeview. Pretty slow but nowhere to run, literally. Smudged her after looping in the living room and went upstairs with a smudge. She followed me right to the master bedroom and the hunt ended two seconds before she would've gotten me! Yikes! Shouldn't be an issue on a decent looping map

Insym deogen ability is in spirit box. If you talk with spirit box deogene does special noise with spirit box (sorry for bad english)

I think the thaye should cycle, when it gets too old, it comes full circle and becomes young again, uber active and agile

I think i found somthing new. I was playing against a thaye ghost and it was in the bathroom. before it hunted i was able to see the ghost in the mirror of the bathroom. after the hunt i could no longer see it, i do have the video of it happening and ill post it tonight. and keep up the good work, I love the content
