Great reaction. You notice the every day noises because you're high my dude lol! All the red was when there was an interaction with the ghosts. Red door on the church, red baseball caps on the kids walking past, the red shawl the wife wrapped up in, coles red blanket in the hospital. The crew looked hard before the release of the movie to make sure that there was not any accidental red. I laughed hard at the part when you got scared. It was the best reaction!!!

If that scene doesn't make you cry then something is wrong with you. Amazing how no one picks up on the twist even though they made it so obvious. It was totally mind blowing when it first came out and you could just see everyone's jaw on the floor in the theater, just like yours was, when we realized what the twist was. This movie put M. Night Shyamalan on the map.

The I see dead people scene contains everything. ‘You have to add some twists’ ‘they only see what they want to see’. He’s not talking about dead people, he’s talking about the audience. It’s the whole point of the movie. People only see what they want to see and the director proves it to you by using you as an example.

The purpose of a scary scene is to get the audience sacred and a sad scene is their to make you feel something. That is what a good director does they make you feel invested in the movie/characters so in a way its a disservice to a director if you didn't get scared or get emotional it means they didn't capture your interest enough for you to feel something. By you getting scared it meant that their story telling (directing) is impacting you and that's a positive thing so please don't be embarrassed of feeling something because that what good movies do

I am old enough to have watched this movie at a theater. Twice, of course. I still remember someone - it was the second time - who, at the final revelation, started saying, louder and louder, sentences like "Wait.... no.... holy cow.... no! Is he dead? Wtf! Is he dead? No, I cannot believe it" etc. He couldn't stop, so half of the audience started to laugh. I don't know if you noticed that another clue about the final fate of Malcolm was the color red; red is used, as a spot, every time there's a ghost. Cole's jumper is red when he's attacked by the spirit of the stairs, the handle of the door which he cannot open is red, so the tent of the girl killed, the placemat, etc. One of my fav movies, definitely.

I appreciate the sound in this movie too. Despite it being a psychological suspense thriller, it has very cozy moments with sounds that are relatable. Like, the Mom’s house shoes dragging in the kitchen or,like, even the rustling of trees in the city. 🍂 Haley Joel Osment(Cole) received an academy award nomination for his performance. 🎭

"I see dead people." This movie is a masterclass in subtle storytelling. Fun Fact: A lot of the members of M. Night Shyamalan's family are doctors. This is the reason why he cameos as a doctor, as a tribute to his family. Emotional Horror Fact: Toni Collette has said that she was so moved by the emotional resonance of the story while filming, she did not even realize it was a horror film until after its release. To be fair, this movie is more a thriller than horror. Left-Handed Fact: While circling a passage in the notes, Bruce Willis does so with his right hand. Willis is actually left-handed; he learned how to write right-handed so that viewers wouldn't notice that his wedding band was no longer on his hand. Willis also draws the circle clockwise (like a left-handed person would), while most right-handed people would draw it counter-clockwise.
@Treyreacts11

Great reaction, I didn't pay much attention to the special acoustics in the movie before, but you're right, it is something special, the director M. Night Shyamalan (who by the way gave himself the role of the doctor) really made sure that the viewer hears everything. That you have understood the twist - like most of us, including me - only at the end is good for the reaction, by the way, exactly the viewers are always looking forward to the most, although your reaction to the vomiting girl was also not bad (I have but also not sovereign at the first viewing😅).

Real tough guys cry when theres something they feel is worth crying for, get scared when somethings spooky as hell and it would be sociopathic to not feel some kind of fear. I’m laughing so much already and I’m only a couple minutes in ahaha. And i TOTALLY get what you mean in the beginning! That’s the whole reason I started watching reactions during quarantine. Because usually I show my friends videos and things I like. But I couldn’t then. So I had to find the validation elsewhere. Hence, KZfaq reactions! lol

I have seen this movie countless times. In the theaters, on DVD, when it played on TV, and now I've watched reactions of it. And never, not once, has the scene in the car failed to make me cry.

this flick raises the question just what would it take to explain to YOU ( and ME ) that you're dead, and if you think you're alive the opposite question is there aswell, just what exactly makes you think you're alive.

Trey, one of my fav reaction vids. You're gobsmacked/slack-jawed in the car with mom. You just look down the barrel of the camera, giving up, "I'm just gonna cry right now"

I’ve never enjoyed watching someone watching this movie more then you watching it, from the beginning you were just watching the movie, by the end you were watching so intensely, and you’re human just like the rest of us and we all shared a tear in the car scene, thank you. I really appreciate your channel, and we’ll be watching more of you watching movies ☺️
