I live in San Diego. I went to Mexico City for 4 years ago. I wasn't excited planning a trip to a big crowded city. When I got there I was BLOWN AWAY! This video totally took me back as went to many of the same places. Thank You. Mexico is loaded with "Goods".

I'm so glad you went it's looked like you had so much fun. My grandpa was born there and is going there during the summer might go down with him. But I'm so glad you can see the beauty of Mexico City and see the Mexican culture:D

I’m going to Mexico City for my honeymoon in 2 weeks. Thanks for the recommendations! I’m so excited to go. Me and my fiancé have family in other parts of Mexico but we’ve always wanted to experience Mexico City. I wonder what your friend thinks of living there bc my fiancé wants to try loving in the city.

Great video Leilani! Really informative. Agree that Mexico city is stunning. And safe if you take normal precautions. The central areas Condesa, Roma Norte, Histórico and Polanco are so easy to walk around , really safe with so much to do.

On weekends try to use the transit system, it’s cheap and the lines 1 and 2 are really safe for foreigners

Hello, thank you for visiting my city! Although 40-45 pesos for a taco is REALLY expensive, here the good tacos are like 12 pesos, you should try them once! 😊

I hope you like our city and have a lot of fun, in the city there is a lot of variety of events every weekend, there are dance halls, you could go to the castle of chapultepec, its parks section one and section 2, Xochimilco another beautiful place to relax.

I love Mexico City! I've only been there once but it was a great experience for me, too. If you enjoy Mexico culture, there are a lot of places just across the border, too! TJ is a bit sketch, but I have a house in Rosarito, and since it's such a big tourist destination, it's pretty safe! There are a lot of good places along the coast that you can go to, I highly recommend Rosarito and, if you like seafood, you HAVE to go to Puerto Nuevo. Best lobster I've ever had was at Restaurant Puerto Nuevo #1. 本当におすすめ！

Omg thank you for the recommendations!😍 ahh my family and I have gone to Puerto Nuevo a couple times and we LOVE IT! Always get the lobster!🤤 whenever we have friends/family visiting we love to take them to Puerto Nuevo since we are so close to Mexico!💕

Ahh your trip looked amazing and so beautiful with all the greens and lushness of it all. My boyfriend is mexican and hes been trying to get me to go visit. One day! Lol Im glad you had a wonderful and fun time! Its good to immerse yourself in different cultures. Dont worry about the language barrier. Girl, im hispanic and my spanish aint that great lol but i try everyday to get it better :)

Leilani, I enjoyed your video a lot but I must point out that on minute 8:01 you are not in Coyoacan. You are in Avenida de la Paz going from Insurgentes Ave up to Revolución Ave. and more concretely towards San Angel Inn, one of the poshiest and most expensive neighborhoods in Mexico. The "flea market you mentioned is in Plaza San Jacinto, in San Angel and it's called "Bazar del Sábado" or Saturday's Bazaar because it opens only on Saturday. I lived in that neighborhood for over ten years. Frida's Casa Azul is in Coyoacan.

The blue tiles building that you took a picture of your friend was the first gift shop in Mexico City from 1800's ran by 2 american borthers named Samborn currently run by the richest man in Mexico as a big chain of gift shop and drug store with the same name Samborn's
