I love your relaxing video. I lived in Beaufort from 3rd grade through first year of college, I was at Hunting island many times. I stopped at the Gay fish company to buy flounder.

I’m my personal opinion and experience, It’s not necessary to set the hook when it’s obvious the fish is hooked. It risks ripping the hook out of the fish’s mouth. If line is slack or pole has a slow bend, in that case you may see me set the hook.
