Sorry about the audio guys. The heater in the shop was on and we made the choice not to use the lav mic for freedom of movement. The noise cancellation is causing a lot of digital artifacts. Lesson learned.

Jay, leave the edges frosted but don't use the trim paint. Get some of the tail light tint paint. It will make the edge seem black until the LED's are on, then it will tone down the light just a little bit. Kind of like a two way mirror.

Good to know. I'm fighting with iCue right now because it won't detect an older Corsair AIO I have installed. I *think* it's an H100 but idk for sure, got it for free with a used C70 case I bought on Craigslist). Even tried the "legacy" version. So I'm stuck with whatever color it decides to be when it boots, which is sometimes white but more often green. Kinda clashes with the purple theme I have going everywhere else, lol. Maybe this will fix it. iCue is garbage but sadly it's simultaneously probably the best manufacturer's RGB software I've ever used.

Jay, maybe tape of the plate edges with some pinstriping tape, leave 1/4 or 1/8 frosted in the center of the edge with the rest painted. You'd still get lighting showing through, while reducing the area that's 'unfinished'.

Jay I’d sort the tubes out by reversing the way you’re connecting them. So instead of trying to make that tight bend on the bottom of the pump plate take that tube all the way to the rear port of the bottom plate then have the front port be the outlet to the GPU or the front rad. It means more tubes that will fill that empty space up nicely and you can make cleaner bends because you don’t have any tight spaces to fit them into.

Not sure what Jay is worried about the tubing routing. There's a super simple solution, essentially a clock-wise flow: Connect the pump to the bottom distro, exit the distro at the rear of the case upwards with a 90 degree bend towards the GPU inlet (inlet on EK is the side closest to PCIE brackets), out the top of the GPU outlet and connect to the bottom of CPU block (which is the inlet for these EK blocks), out the top of the CPU block, go upwards, then 90 degree bend towards the rear of the case and connect to the 360 rad on the deeper side (closest to motherboard tray), out the rad and go straight across to the front 360 where it should line up reasonably well with the side closest to the glass side panel, then out the other side and back into the pump/res combo. It's a basic layout and would work really well. The only difficult part of that could be connecting the pump outlet to the bottom distro because it doesn't line up properly (seems like an oversight by Singularity computers on some otherwise really cool pieces)

Jay evaluating the CPU block: "There's nothing else in the case that's silver / metal". Jay unwraps and installs rads with silver: "I might just leave the silver, it seems like a pretty nice contrast". So uh, you could use the othe EK waterblock if you're leaving the silver on the rad.

For the pump outlet......I'm not a builder by any means so forgive me if this is dumb.......on the pump OUTLET go straight out about the same distance the bottom inlet port is on the reservoir on the bottom of the case...... then 90° up to the top of the pump, then 90° to the right across the top of it...90° down to the bottom of the pump, 90° across the bottom of the pump then 90° down into a fitting on the inlet of the water block on the bottom......as long as that wouldn't interfere with the rad and fans on the front. So you'd have a square of tubing surrounding the pump that would look cool and show off more of the fluid your going to use.

Will post my build log for review. This is my first time liquid cooling as well. Needed to use some liquid flow dynamics software to ensure the case would flow liquid correctly. Great video, thanks and hope you feel better soon. For me, allergy season started early this year, though it is still cold in Germany... The bottom distribution plate seems to create as may problems as it solves, unfortunatly. I've never done my own water cooling, but from your and similar videos, I could see this "tube sequence" working: 1) fittings-only connection from pump-out to bottom distro; 2) left-bottom distro out into right GPU in; 3) right GPU out along GPU and back-side of the case into top radiator in; 4) top radiator out to top CPU in; 5) bottom CPU out towards the top and then right in to the front radiator port closer to the glass panel; 6) front radiator into the pump reservoir. You could terminate tube 5) into the front radiator with a T-style fitting with the T-junction having a quick-connect pointing up and out as a fill port. In terms of bends, that seems managable: 2) 3 bends; 3) 2-4 bends, depending on how many right angles you want and how well the ports line up; 4) 3 bends; 5) same as 3); 6) 2 bends. For either 2) or 4) or both you could even consider use two singly-bent tubes with a 90° fitting instead of 3 bends! A black fitting there would be kind of understated, chrome too much, but are there gun-metal colored ones?!? For temperatures it most likely will not have a measurable impact to have a rad behind either heat source, but it feels more satisfying than having "pre-heated" water trying to cool GPU or CPU. And your radiator fan speeds would reflect either GPU or CPU intensive tasks differently, which might be cool ;-)

If you plan on using the silver on the radiators and fittings you could also try to use the silver cpu water block to help it match more. I think that would look good.

Jay you can mod the distro plate by adding a fitting location where you please. I forgot what tap size you need but you can easily get that on amazon. Just take apart the distro plate and carefully drill and tap your desired feed/outlet location. Taping the area and marking the locations in the fitting stage would help with perfect alignment before drilling and tapping. I know I'm stating the obvious but, hey its an idea. Either way sick build bro.

Things to experiment with, for the rough cloudy water block acrylic edges (besides trying the heat treatment): 1) Apply Cell Helmet. Yes the liquid stuff you use for phone screen protection. Penetrates the finer scratches real good, while also filling in imperfections. 2) Try clear nail polish, on the acrylic edges. If its too thick and not penetrating enough for the finer areas? add a touch of acetone to thin it out. 3) Rain-X (but you will probably need to re-apply at some point).

Please do a video explaining/testing the effects off thermal paste pump out, i’ve been getting a lot of pumping out effect on notebooks and gpus (cpus are fine) after 6 months / 1 year (or even less time) with noctua nt-h1 and h2… For those who dont know what im talking about, is when the paste physically leaks out of the place that is meant to be.
