Absolutely love the Lake District, one of our favourite places for sure! We've recently been getting into wild swimming so we'll have to check this spot out!

It's also *owned* by someone, no matter where you are in the Lakes. The National Trust own and manage around 140'000 acres of the Lake District, along with about 80 farms there..... Were you thinking it was a free for all, where anything goes?

I'm afraid it isn't. Because wild camping in the Lake District is illegal.... Read the Lake District National Park Authority regulations, and see for yourself......
